Quite cool to see that MGUCI allowed Kraftwerk to start with 80 riders. Kraftwerk riders wherever you look ...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

What on earth have the Kraftwerk team been eating in Ukraine and can we get an exclusive export license?
Attacking in strength mid stage when you have a man in the break may have appeared to be a crazy move, however it threw the other riders off the scent allowing Josue Gonzalez Cortes to rise into 6th on GC.
More Krazy Kraftwerk in future stages please.

No clue how Dunbar loses 6 minutes today while Zmorka chills in the front group, but this surely has to get us a GC Top10 now

I feel you man - same with Konig for me after all of the decent races from him unlike one certain 600k Austrian

Adding myself to the crowd of disbelief. Seeing Gesink finish behind someone like Zmorka is beyond calamitous.
Can I at least get an award for my (lack of) hindisight?

I'm afraid pairing him with Borges hasn't been tested yet though, but given there's only one small hill stage it should work fine.

24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Very nice to see former riders Dees and Paillot with strong races here. I'm quite surprised to see Eastman run away with the overall victory here though. Clever planning it seems!

Good to see that the prologue is no flatter than last year's, despite the claims to the contrary in the profiles forum
If Paillot can hang on today he should make up most of those losses on the final stage. It's up and down, but I doubt much of it is above 5% so it should favour the TTers more than the prologue did. This is likely to be one of our worst races of the season so far, so just about damage limitation really.
And then we went and scored 186 points in 3 RDs
Although I hoped Paillot would finish higher at the start of the race, I can't complain with 7-11-19-35 on GC. Overall we scored far more than I expected, and now if my numbers are right lead the rankings by over 700 points - the gap from us to 2nd is roughly the same as 2nd to 19th at this point, and only 9 teams have used less RDs than we have...
That being said, we'll crash back down to earth soon I'm sure thanks for the reports, a great read as ever - and congrats to Azteca! |

Dropping a place to Cattaneo was expected, but fifth is an awesome result for Haga in this race
Five riders in the top 40 as well, so overall a great race for us.
Thanks for the reports Abhishek and congratz Azteca!

Very much an underwhelming home race for us, but that was very much expected sadly.. Shame the parcours has changed since last season..
