Just one clarification: Will riders that have been in negotioations from day 0 sign after this day? Because it's the third day, right?
Just in negotiation isn't enough. If you, for example, offered Cavendish his min wage of 780 before/on day 1, the clock would only start running on day 7 because that's the first day he'd accept the offer.

You are right! Somehow my formulas failed with this, so I updated the FA table again. For anyone these riders will sign definitely a contract at the end of the day with the team that places the highest bid:
5349 | Bryon | Miguel | 7316 | Senechal | Florian | 8060 | Chaix | Adrien | 8100 | Geissler | Peter | 8168 | Eisaks | Juris | 8492 | Peiffer | Jonathan | 8791 | van der Merwe | Hendrik | 8841 | Cruz | Andrés | 8918 | Kolodziejski | Zdzislaw | 9010 | Smith | James | 9150 | Herder | Marc | 9341 | Whittaker | Neil | 9374 | Brundby | Jacob |
If you copy the latest FA table, it will also be marked in your transfer sheet!
Edit: Ripley is also correct, not all riders that were in negotiations from day 0 on would immediately sign now, only those that had acceptable offers from the start! |

Yes forgot to mention that, but that's what I meant. 3rd day in a row where he would accept the offer.
Ok so I thought he would declare 3 times that he would sign on the next day and not sign the 3rd time he got an acceptable answer. So he would declare it after day 0, 1 and 2 and then sign the highest bid (so before day 3). Are you that that's what happened with Sagan?
Edit: Thanks Bikex

I edited the Sagan example out of my post because I was wrong. There's somebody I bid on from the start who still hasn't signed, he is in the list Bikex just made.

Just double-checking, is day 3 still ending on the 21st? Since the end of day 2 was shifted to the 20th

Yeah, Bikex said that the times will be the same. It was only the previous day that got delayed by ~12hrs.

I have a question not strictly related to the moment, but actually quite important for planning the season: the budget is recalculated every season from the basic valor (something like 5k and more for CT teams), or from the budget you reached by past recalculation?
not sure if I was clear with this question, tell me if you need an example..

It's always calculated from the same basic value to which earnings from rankings, focus races, world cup & pr points are added. |

A more general question from my side, too:
How do these training packages exactly work? I remember having read a post about how the money spent impacts the possible points gain somewhere, but I can't find it now. I mean, I'll probably have no money left anyway, but I always find these things interesting

Unless sth changed:
- You buy the package first without already assigning it to a specific rider
- The more you spend on it, the better the package is
- There is a random element to it so if you buy 3 packages for the same price, you might end up with 3 different packages that differ in size by about 15% or so
- Once you have the result of the package, you can assign it to whichever rider benefits the most from the package

This is how much one point in the Training Table will add to the base stat: Of course there is a random factor but it will always be between 1,5% and 3% of what you are paying. So if you buy a 100 stat pack you will get between 6 and 12 points for a stat where it says 4 in the Training table.
That information should be enough to calculate how much you need to save to probably get someone to the next stat |

I recently updated the Checklist thread with the most current posts about the individual ICL steps. So read up on research (and everything else) there, download the most recent research file.
Make sure you understand how base stat points work. In the most recent dbs you have tables with the riders' base stat points and a stat matrix showing you how they convert to real stat points.

Thanks, knockout, it's exactly that post that I was looking for! Of course, I searched through the FAQs - don't know why I overlooked it...
@Ripley
Yeah, last year's files are great to play around a bit with! I think I've understood how the base stat points work - I'll find out once we're into development

Do we find out the exact amount of base stat points each bought package will give before we have to assign them?

Unless anything changed last year - yes.

You see the amount of stat points you get with the package before assigning it. |
