I don't think it's explicitly stated, but as bids must always be a multiple of 5, I guess +5 is the minimum increase.
That's what I thought, thanks.

Given the pace of deals, can we speed up the transfer days too?

I'm not really sure what to do now, can I manually increase my Bids now, what does Max bid than do?

It's new for all of us. I'm sure you can increase your bids or the max of your bids if you like.
(I hope this is right.) If you are already leading (with a bid the rider accepted on day 0):
- If nobody bids today, you get the rider for that wage.
- If somebody bids but less than your max, the wage will increase to the other bid +5 but you get the rider.
- If you get outbid you still get one more chance.

When we paste the transfer bit into G1, is it supposed to update the database in the TransferSheet file? I notice that my two transfers have not shown up with the rest of my team

Massive win for Trek, but even more so for Ceramica and KBC who look secure. Credit Suisse with another season w/o a big leader?
I think it is not G1 but H1?

wow, can't believe it! Finally a true leader, and I spent almost the minimum budget reserved for this market operation.
Now full immersion in finding a good climber for another leader role..

If I lost out on a rider, and he's noted down in the DB as having signed for another team for the exact same amount as my (improved) maximum bid instead of my bid +5, does that mean both teams had the same maximum bid and it went to a coin flip?

Most teams have already sent something in I suggest this schedule:
day 0: until 14.01 10:00 CET
day 1: until 17.01 10:00 CET
day 2: until 19.01 10:00 CET
day 3: until 21.01 10:00 CET
day 4: until 22.01 10:00 CET
day 5: until 23.01 10:00 CET
day 6: until 24.01 10:00 CET
...
times being PM
Are we still operating on this timeline?

@cio: Yeah that was quite unlucky for you. Both you and Shonak went for the exact same new max bid
@Scatmaster: Yes, but sometimes it might vary by a few hours until I post the update. |

Same thing happened with me on Petrikov and I lost the coin toss, we must all think about bidding in the same way.
Have a question on signing directives - I got outbid for the first rider on my list but he hasn't signed. My bid has moved to the second rider. Does that mean if I choose to increase my bid on the first rider I am now on both of them because I can't withdraw the offer for the second rider?
