NCs/WCs are not yet updated everything else should be. The Min Wage now is now closer to Ripley's suggestion. Let me know in case you spot any mistakes!
Is nothing coloured in this spreadsheet or does LibreOffice just not update the formatting correctly? Just wanted to make sure if that was something I'd have to look out for regularly going forward.

Thanks for the DB, bikex. Looks very interesting with a more narrow top-tier in GTs again and a strengthening of the 2nd tier. Surprised that Bardet is not MT83 but I guess boosting the hill could pay off more. Alongside this and GVK's training, the hills look to become even more competitive than in the previous years. Imho confirms my suspicion that Bananito's loss in -1 hl is a good sign to look for a 2019 similar schedule again. FA market looks packed this season

@Scatmaster: It's the same for me when I open the file in Libre Office. Maybe you have to change something in the settings. Open Office works better and shows the correct colour scheme.

Blame it all on me. I'm not saying we shouldn't take another step next season, but your proposal was fairly radical and I think it's better to see how this reduction plays out first.

Don't know if it's a mistake, but the AVGs of my 4 new British talents have changed compared to the talents db, while all other AVGs are unchanged.
very very interesting, one of my best scorers is retiring (Jelle Vanendert), but there are many available riders from our focus region who can replace him.
there are even good chances to improve the average level of the team.

I decided not to break the MO82 cap and boost Bardet's classics chances. Time will tell if this was a wise choice
This is how the renewals work: A rider demands a certain wage of you. You can then decide whether you want to accept that wage and re-sign him for the next season, don't prolong his contract or wait. You have three chances to make an offer before the negotiations end.
How does the file work:
1 Put in C3 your team ID. If you forgot it, check it in table "teams".
2 In column H the riders current wage is listed in row I the minimum wage that has to be paid. In column K you see the demand of the rider. In the cell on the left of that you usually see a 0. Only exception being an "IN" if you signed the rider during Scouting.
3 In N you make your first offers. If you agree to the wage the rider wants just write it there. If you want to make an offer with a lower wage than put in there how much you offer instead. If you want the rider to leave the team put a 0. If you want to wait with negotiations to a later round put a "W" in there.
4 In row 2 you see how much budget you'd have left with your offers.
5 If you made your offers go to "PM" copy for round 1 cells B-C and send them to me in a table. In round 2 you will send me F-G and in round 3 J-K.
6 After sending me a pm you will get an answer from me asap with the riders reactions. Go to "Renewals" sort the riders after their ID and put the list you get into row R for round 1, for round 2 that'd be row S and for round 3 row T. If a rider is out the list will tell you "OUT", if the rider agrees to your offer it will say "IN". If you didn't reach the min wage he'd accept you will either get 1,2 or 3 +. If it's only one the lowest wage he'd accept is within 50. If there are 2 then it is between 50 and 100 and with three + it is more than 100 away.
7 If you get +s back then you can continue negotiations in column O (round 2) and column P (round 3). If you get back an "IN" or "OUT" then you can't continue negotiations as you already came to an agreement with the rider.
8 If you didn't come to an agreement with the rider after 3 rounds then he'll leave the team.
9 You are not allowed to be over your budget after Renewals. It also counts as being over budget if you can't sign enough riders with the lowest possible min wage of 100 anymore. The numbers in the renewals file take that into account.
Mediator
Some Teams have put some money in last season's research into mediator. In the spoiler below you can see how much. With each mediator unit you can lower the minimum a rider would accept by 5-15 (One unit costed 10). Just tell me when sending in the first renewals round on which rider(s) you want to spend your mediator.

I hope everyone understands how it works.
Changes this year include higher demands from high potential riders and performance having a greater impact.
Let me know if you have any questions!

All points matter. That is, how well you do in a focus race depends on the % of available points your team scored in that race - and the more teams participate, the smaller the % needs to be.
Up to a limit. For example, as you can read from the tables above: The WC TTT was fully booked with 24 teams and the 16.8% of points scored by Grupo Argos was just enough to make the maximum amount of 350 (for a WT race) - the same as Vittel, who won the race and scored 23.1% of the points. While 16.8% wasn't quite enough for Peugeot to make the full 350 in the Ster ZLM Tour where 22 teams lined up.
Thanks for the explanation, I assumed that it was more like a sponsor goal so finishing in the top 5 or winning stages matter and not total points. Not sure I would have selected differently but kind of burst my bubble since I was pretty happy with winning 2 of my 3 focus races and it turned out not to be all that exciting. It helps to pay attention to the rules.
You actually scored pretty well in those two races, however it has also an influence that they were CT races so the maximum payout wasn't that high and as you did rather poorly in Dwars Door Vlaanderen the total is not that exciting anymore, but still okay compared to other CT teams imo.
I put all Focus race performances in the spoiler in case you are interested:
1. Thanks for the thoughts on focus races, Thought maybe Dwars pulled me down,
2. There is a reference to steals in the mediator section of the renewals post - are steals happening?
3. Holiday break is good for me on transfers, lots of time off and nowhere to go
4. My research file shows me buying a mediator. You sure there were none?
I'm fine having transfers this month. Actually would be good for me if the more intensive parts of the window are completed by the first week of January.
Under normal circumstances I would say doing transfers during christmas break would be problematic, but considering the 'rona situation I'd imagine most people (including myself) are just sort of sitting at home waiting for something to do, so that should be fine
I'm ok with transfers going ahead too. I will hopefully be a bit more active in this year's transfer market, it's definitely time to change up our roster after so many years!

I need 25 riders for my main team and 8 for the youth, right?
That's what it's always been for WT, I can't recall any changes for this season.
Btw, probably that's just me, but today I was unable to download from mediafire with Firefox, including the new db which downloaded just fine yesterday. Switching to Tor did the trick.
Also: I demand more money for Team BP! That is, Team BP is listed with needing 25 instead of 33 riders even though we have a dev team. Same is true for other teams, I know KBC added a dev team.

Sorry hadn't updated the U23 teams list when calculating the budget. It's fixed now in the renewals file!
@jaxika: Yes minimums are 25 for WT, 18 for CT and 8 for U23
@Ulrich: No steals are not happening just forget to check that section when copying will remove it now. Thanks for noticing!
Also I have added the mediators now. Sometimes when I try to rush things I become a bit of an idiot. I was really surprised when I checked yesterday and saw that noone bought mediators. Don't know what I looked at.
Anyways thanks for noticing Ulrich!
