I can safely say you're all going to be seeing this gif a lot as it's nice and comforting as we spiral inevitably into the CT.
Dekker was decent though, although worth virtually no points.

Good job by Varga in the breakaway and picking a couple of bonus seconds. That's the way to go for us in this race

swift has been on fire lately
It is precisely what we needed, on top of this victory brings the bonus of leadership in both the race and the green jersey. Another 1 or 2 results like that and we can even think about winning this race.
But not everything is positive, not having Kupfernagel on the sprint train almost cost us this victory. On top of that the whole team with the exception of Swift ended well there at the end of the pack

Oooh, that seemed to be really close from 5th to 7th, with Reinhardt drawing the short straw - or the race just being 50m or so too short
But I definitely won't complain, given that he was ahead of quite a few top sprinters, scoring some points and getting valuable bonus seconds. And first of all, I'm relieved that Ras Tailteann just seemed to be an odd race (maybe the sprinter field was so weak that Cissé was considered to be a favorite as well...).
The rest of the team is however invited to be a bit more active as well - doing some protection/leadout work or going into breakaways.
Congrats to Berg, Swift really is on a roll! And thank for the report, SN!

Great job by Reinhardt again, seems like our leaders fare better in HC than C2 I really think you will be promoting this season!
Also happy to see Boeckmans doing well for Swisslion after they had some rough results lately

Cav still has it, 5th and some valuable bonus seconds is a great start.

And now Lluis Mas with a super showing in today's break. Just a shame about the bunch split, because with those 6 seconds it was a guaranteed Top15-18 GC result for him. At least Peter finished on the main group (and we are still alive in the Team standings funnily). Obviously, basically winning KoM jersey is a much bigger reward than minor GC points.
But more than the total points we might get out of this race, i'm most happy about how aggresive we are being when Kudus isn't racing

Interesting race to follow as an outsider, also thanks to the detailed updates throughout the race and at the end
Congratulations to Swisslion, Boeckmans not only consistent but also winning stages now, marvellous. Very nice of Reinhardt and Cavendish to be consistent as well.

Acceptable result for Vesely in a strong field, the split working nicely in a possible quest for the teams/youth classification

Wow, not sure how, but all eight of our cyclists managed to be on the right side of the split. Well done team! Having five of the Top 10 U25 riders is also a welcomed sight.

Better, although how Ewan gives up that much distance continues to prove that PCM18 sprinting is a total lottery and that wage calculations needs a look at.
Speaking of Lottery, Aberasturi with a shock Top10 placing, miles ahead of Kek! Keeps us looking good for the team competition, which means we'll now lose it somehow.

KRIS IS ON FIRE!!
Wow, awesome ride by Boeckmans here. Again picking the right wheel to follow and super patient with perfect timing to launch his sprint
We need points badly from this race and Boeckmans is answering the call The only tricky thing now is, that we'll be required to do more chasing in the peloton and we're clearly undermanned there. Hopefully the other teams give us a hand
Whatever the case may be, this race looks like it will be a success for us, so we'll just roll with the punches in the next 2 stages. Maybe Boeckmans gets a nice leader's bonus now and can just keep going like this
"I am a cyclist, I may not be the best, but that is what I strive to be. I may never get there, but I will never quit trying." - Tadej Pogačar

Hmm... That split was not good. Even if we finally show up in a breakaway, we won't get any depth points thanks to intermediate sprints now...
On the other hand, it's great to see Reinhardt in contention again - even though he should have been more patient. But I'll take these points for sure! If he doesn't get caught on the wrong side of a split, Top 20 should be pretty safe now. We're here mainly for development purposes, so anything above 0 points is good

A brilliant day for Jannik Steimle with that gap opening up, he might be on track to score a few points on his own now!

Definitely today was not a positive day for the team. We still have a good chance of returning to leadership in the next stages

Another top 5 for Cav after some good wheel sucking. He normally has at least one no show but could still make a top 10 GC which would be marvellous.

Very strange stage and 2nd day in a row with a bad positioning of Swift for the final sprint. If we continue like this we run the risk of ending up outside the top 10.

It would have been great to have a split there right behind Reinhardt, but obviously the gap wasn't big enough ^^
Horrible positioning by Reinhardt today, though, guess he just took the wrong wheel. Maybe Boeckmans'?
At least, Stocker and Cissé were finally a bit further ahead - unfortunately not yesterday... And still not really helpful for Reinhardt.
Hoping for some more bonus seconds to come in, as that could even be a Top 10 GC result!
