I have fixed the naming discrepancies that were found in all the threads.

Havent checked if the profile is flat or it is has been "stamped" into the zcts.
Either way it does not matter in PCM2018 only the profile matter.

If it looks like a flat/hilly/mountain stage it will play as that, profile markings, HI/MO ratio and all that have no effect.

My gut feeling is that flat icon indicate that a good sprint can sometimes make a difference, would be more fair to say both a good sprint some flat/punch/mo may help but COB is very clearly the dominant factor in a race with red COB icon.

Missed this post, but thanks for the explanation. However I still feel like hills should play an even bigger role and last year's result kind of proves my point imo. But it is what it is. Smile

Is Vineyards the only race in either C2 or C2HC with mountains and a Flat ITT? I found one with a prologue, one with a MTT and one with a TTT but not another Mountain and ITT race.

I just did send out all budgets by managers, that have sent in their goals yet.

For all others, please send in your goals asap. This also goes for new managers, it is your first task in the Man Game. Please don`t let us wait for it as this Thursday is the deadline to do so before going into transfers.

Question: Why is there a difference between win a PT Classic and win a PTHC Classic (4 and 3 points) but no difference between win PT Stage Race and win a PTHC Stage Race (both 4 points)? Shouldn't win a PTHC Stage Race and win a PTHC Classic be the same? (both 4 points or both 3 points)

As the deadline for Goals is technically Thursday, can we still make adjustments to them before that deadline?

If you received your budget it's a done deal I guess (otherwise it wouldn't be fair)

Everyone knows i'm picking a max 23 points, as i do every year. But i'm raising a specific scenario with Roturn in PM

Hope that the change from avg 5 to avg 3 cobbles, in general should make the effect you want, so that hilly cob races will give a better shot for a hilly cobbler.
Even thought the race still has RED icon, it is not all 5*

Longer cob races should favor a stamina cobbler, flat cobs should favor a flat/sprinter type cobbler - you get my drift ?

That is basically why we used a lot of time trying to find a better balance while still aiming for a top cobbler winner 95-99% of the time.

The goal cost must remain! Then it`s potentially okay. Not really impacting anyone else in such case and goal deadline was not reached yet.

That said, in future goals will end around renewals, so before bands, which wasn`t possible this season (also due to me being more busy than usual).

Whoever is yet to do the goals, deadline is today!

In worst case being in danger of losing their MG spot completely.

So please hurry up and do all goals and other stuff before the deadlines.

Okay that makes sense. Haven't considered the effect of the lower ratings of the cobbled sections tbh. Let's see how the race turns out this season and if Tom David still doesn't get a top 10 the race can be made hillier for next season then. Pfft

Anyway with a reduced workload compared to this season, quite sure we will fix the profile to have a hilly icon, as it will make more sense to distinguish the race further from P-R, as long as COB is the domination factor.

I may be being dumb, but are training costs and the transfer sheets available yet?

I want to plug the info of what I have going into transfers into mine ahead of transfers starting.

The other form of stat increases is training. Prices might stay like last season but will be further explained later. There will also be the 2015 introduced restrictions on the amount of training a team can do each year.

So they might stay like last season; I don't think that's definitive yet Wink
Transfer sheets haven't been sent out afaik, guess it'll be done soon...

roturn
Transfer Sheets come tomorrow. Training remains same.

DB coming in a second.

The 2020 edition of Ronde van Nederland now uploaded to profiles, as suggested almost like the 2018 version just with some minor changes to fix sprint issues.

Don’t be fooled by the stage1 profile, PCM2018 cuts a little bit in the end, it is just as uphill as in 2018 (finish just after the top of the hill)

Tamijo
For some reason [C2] Tour of Chile was not uploaded correct - now uploaded to profiles

Tamijo
[PTHC] Tour of Slovenie uploaded with correct ITT/TTT profiles

Tamijo
[PTHC] Tour du Maroc profile fixed to 8 stages
