22 PT teams. 26 PCT teams. 6 PTHC Bands, 3 Bands of 14rd each which is 42rd in PTHC for all teams.
PTHC profiles thread reminder: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1367478
It's quite unlikely that all teams will get their Top 3 bands, although it is probably easier than in previous 2/4 system.
So as last season, there'll be a starting time for sending your choices in.
The start to PM your PTHC band priority lists is Saturday, 26/09, 18:00 British time. (6 p.m. UK time) Choices to be PMed to me!
Please PM your choices as seen below with the order as you like.
| 1 | Band 2 | | 2 | Band 3 | | 3 | Band 1 | | 4 | Band 4 | | 5 | Band 6 | | 6 | Band 5 |
If a choice is over subscribed, then a pretty neutral mix of factors is coming into play with things like PM time, band priorities and others being valued.

Saturday is 26/09 or Friday (today) 25/09?

Good catch. I think tomorrow is the right date though as mentioned in the likely transfer timeline.

As indicated by rotrun to me in a Skype PM, PTHC should be tomorrow (so Saturday the 26th)

Thanks for the info
I have taken the liberty to update the post with the correct date.

Also everyone will be riding 3 bands and not 4 as the second line says. 4*14 doesn't equal 42, atleast in the decimal number system

A reminder for all PT/PCT managers!
Some PTHC choices still missing!
Some PCT managers have PMed me their HC bands, but not PTHC yet!
The later you do, the higher the risk to lose out on priorities. |

The PTHC bands are decided and good news first.
All teams got their first two choices making it by the look of it an improvement from the former system.
33/48 teams then also got their 3rd priority while the remaining 15 teams dropped down to their 4th choice!
This also means that no team dropped to their 5th or 6th choice even.
Most prominent was band 1 as 1st option but except for band 6 it was a close fight.
Bands 2 and 3 though had been high in the next priority leading them to be the most popular choices in the top2.
Going into the deciding top 3 choices bands 2 and 4 were already oversubscribed and so was a bit less also band 5 which led to some teams missing out on their top3.
Luckily the balance throughout all bands was quite well, so that band 6 was having quite a few 4th priority choices leading to a decent outcome.
With PTHC bands decided, PT managers might soon get their PT planners for the transfer season while PCT/CT first needs to do C1/C2 selection next.

First, second and fourth choice is alright I guess, but a pity to miss out on Band 5, as I really liked the look of Cheshire Cycling Tour. In the end I opted to prioritize band 2 with Deutschland and Norway to give our TTers some good races, given the clash between Slovenie and Herbiers. Hopefully we won't end up regretting that!

Same here, can live with 4th choice even if it means missing out on the home race.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Third or fourth priority didn't matter that much to me, glad to get at least the important first two choices.

Happy with my picks. My 3rd and 4th choices were essentially even, so getting my 4th pick instead of my 3rd isn't really a problem. Just happy to get my top 2, as they were by far the most important for me.

Assuming Aker - MOL is Aker - MOT, I must be happy with what we got. Maybe this will force us to find a decent puncheur too, at least it's more tempting now compared to before! |

Very happy to get top 3 prios. There was a massive difference between 3rd and 4th band for me so that should make the planning job so much easier for me
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
