Michael Woods joins Israel Startup Nation in 2021. Key helper for Froome but nothing compared to Skyneos’ roster. |

I rate CF Hagen higher as a Mountain domestique. He has an incredible engine for a climber and will almost surely make a big leap imo, being only his second year fully commited to Road Cycling. Perfectly made for being a dom to set a steady pace.

This news has been a few weeks old but it hasn't been posted here; Jumbo Visma will start a women cycling team and Marianne Vos will be one of their leaders.
Also strong rumours say Annemiek van Vleuten is about to leave Mitchelton and will sign at Movistar. Would be a surprise imo as Van Vleuten has been very successful at her current team.

Van Vleuten could ride in a team of hobbit amputees and still be very succesful.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I think there's more than meets the eye regarding the Manuela Fundacion debacle - perhaps Gerry Ryan is preparing for court case?

Bob Jungels will apparently join Ag2r. Which either means an insane investment for the classics or their GT leader for 2021? Kinda seems to have lost the kick in long, uphill finishes though so let’s see. Confirmation awaits despite Deceuninck having made official his departure. Calmejane also joins Ag2r meanwhile. |

I think AG2R is building very well for the classics. Could become surprisingly exciting. Also that offers up loads of space for Stage Hunting in GC-races and opportunities for youngsters. I think riders like Naesen, Greg and Jungels will have loads of space to go Stage-Hunting at Le Tour and won't be held back by GC ambitions like f.e. Naesen used to be with Bardet on the team.

Jungels to AG2R feels strange. Do they really need another cobbled classics man to compete with Naesen and GVA? I know he's won LBL but is not the most obvious of best choice for hilly classics either. I can only think that he still has aspirations to be a GC man in the big tours and to try and be another Dumoulin (even though he hasn't managed that ever before) if that is the case then he will certainly have an adequate climbing team to support him. Anyway better at AG2R as a leader than part of the train at Ineos where was rumoured to go to.

This was my first thought too. He must be looking to pivot towards his climbing abilities or the move doesn't make much sense at all.

Exactly the opposite imo. He finaly had leadership chances this year after Dumoulin left and now he's back to being a domestique in the Jumbo train. I think he just chose easy money.

Iliac artery really doesn’t help a rider. Assuming he will feel better and have less pressure in a team supporting the leaders rather than assuming the lead role himself since he could do an Aru and have several lackluster years. Pity since he looked like a very solid rider up until 2018... hopefully he can bounce back. |

How much budget does Jumbo have? Quite odd how they can afford WVA, Roglic and Big Dumo

Annemiek van Vleuten will ride for Movistar next year. Major transfer especially since the team gets the one rider who has dominated women’s cycling in the past years and will most likely mean the ladies will win more than the fellow men. |

Matteo Trentin sings for UAE Emirates. No doubt that CCC’s structure is falling apart and might not even race under a new name in 2021. |

So CCC was a cycling sponsor for years and as you soon as it replaced BMC it fell all apart?!
