Hi all. Congrats to Banesi.
I am currently in isolation for 2 weeks after my wife developed a cough earlier in the week. I'll be trying to work from home but am not sure yet if I will have access to the Velogames Championship spreadsheet on my laptop at home. If I don't will try to get the table updated ASAP. Otherwise I'll update it on my return to work ( whenever that is ).
Stay safe everyone.

Take care.
Guess this all take a backseat for a long time ahead. VG isn't that important all of a sudden.
Lets hope we do get some before the season is even over. Looks grim indeed.

Obviously the least important thing in the world right now, but the league table has been updated. Congrats to Banesi who has taken over the overall lead, probably for a long time

Just catching up on here. Hope is all well with you and the family Ringo and indeed all.
Personally still on the road to recovery after almost certainly having a relatively mild version of Covid 19 some 7 weeks ago - pressure on the chest and breathing issues being the worst of it but thankfully not awful, though rather unpleasant. Still recovering now in terms of the damage to the lungs but hopefully I'll eventually get back to feeling completely normal.
Once again I do hope all are doing well

Thanks Ian. Good luck with your recovery. Did you consider drinking disinfectant and getting on a sun bed?
It was a false alarm with us, although it did mean that our isolation started about 10 days before the official lock down. We've therefore been in lock down for 6 weeks now. When it's dry we go out for a walk around the block and I've had to go to the supermarket once when we couldn't get a delivery booked in. Luckily the weather has been quite nice until the last few days so we've been able to play out in the back garden for a lot of the time. Would have been a nightmare if we were literally stuck indoors for the whole 6 weeks with a 3 year old.
Just getting used to working from home full time while looking after my daughter. The silver lining for me is I'm going to be rolling in it come the end of lock-down. I'm still getting paid my full time salary, as I'm still working full time (in my semi-key person job) but we aren't paying any nursery fees or going out anywhere. We've literally saved £1,000 in April.
Anyway, it could be an interesting Velogames calendar for the second half of the year.
Keep safe everyone.

Hi All
It looks as though George is working to get the velogames site back up and running for the Strade Bianchi next weekend. Guess we'll have to keep checking the website for updates, although looks as though he is planning a Super Classics Championship, a Stage Race Championship and a Women's Championship.
Cheers

The classic series is online!
Small teams, transfers in between all those classics, kind of late startlists I suppose but lots of fun for sure.
With the situation potentially changing day for day, the schedule is all but secured obviously, but don`t forget to join as long as it runs. starting with Strade Bianche this weekend. |

Hi all. Yes good to see the Classics being already open. I hope that lot of membránu will join. However as usual there is no Tour de France in preliminary stage race schedule
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Right Then.
Format for the rest of the season.
The SuperClasico games will take over from the Spring and Autumn classics. It'll be worth 50 points to the winner.
The Giro and Vuelta will also be 50 point games.
All other stage races will be 25 point games.
At the moment there is no real info in the women's races, other than there appears to be a similar classics games the first one will be the GP de Plouay in late August. Further info will follow when the website is updated fully, but I expect all women's races will be worth 25 points.
So get your entries in. Good Luck All.

Well I forgot about the deadline
Put a random team together on Friday just to get a team in the league bit then forgot to update it this morning. Oh well, I'll probably do better than I normally do

Haha, makes three of us! Quite quickly saw that it was a struggle to fit vdP or Fuglsang in the team and went without both yesterday, thinking I would be able to fit at least Fuglsang today. Then things happened, and no time to change the team
But anyway, brilliant to see Velogames running again, and also the Daily season! Best of luck to all participants. And also to those who might have completely forgotten to put up a team for Strade Bianche, you can put up a team for the next race in the Superclasico event and still count in the "GC" there.
Edit: And right after writing that, Benoot is DNF. Well, the rest of the season can only be better!

I missed this start on VG as probably many others. It's been a very long wait for it and happy to see it restarted. Better start looking up George website again and update oneself.

Since I was asleep when this league & cycling got back on track I'm looking for that VG number. Maybe it's auto at VG when I put my team on the road.
Happy to see you got back in the driverseat Ringo. Good on you mate. It has been a long dark time.
Two races in the Classic is over the hill, but plenty more. I got some catching up to do if I tend to get up that leaderboard.
Hope to see all of us back eventually. It has been a nasty time and I fear it's very long time yet before it's over, or in a almost normal state.
The World might not ever be the same again.
We learn and move on.
I got it. VG number on first page.

Evening All
League table has been updated following the conclusion of the Tour of Poland. Cangrats to Kalach for defending his Polish crown, with 10 bonus points.
Banesi has maintained his lead at this early stage of the competition.
On to the Dauphine

Thanks ringo. It seems that Romandie and Pologne are my favourite races I didnt expect to defend it as it is pretty rare but I am glad that I was able to.
Dauphine is completely another story . Good luck to all
