the problem are all the people not voting yet, at this point it's quite easy for mafia to cast a vote that move the balance in his favour

No, that was your opinion in my reads, I think that mafia is not in a block today in the actual situation

personally as much as I like jseadog vote (he is the scummiest person alive by far), I would love to vote for kandes and see how he would respond, I think its a decent tactic in less competitive games urging people to vote for and prode him as peoples natural instinct is to fight back. not saying hes evil at all but I do wonder why noone took him up on that offer

First of all, good to see quadsas back as a contributing member of the town. As he seems to be willing to discuss things again and vote on someone else than just jdog if it would benefit the town, I think we can put the quadsas lynch on hold, as it was based primarily on game-tactical reasoning (at least by me).

My offer (as I think of the right one) was in case that chances were high for a combined knockout lynch today and my lynch the next day, as that would not benefit the town in any case. Probably lynching me first would improve the odds of the town in such a scenario. As I see discussions developing in other ways too and thus diminishing the odds of such a scenario, I don't see the need for such a move right now.
As the lines of thought finally got opened I tend to go after the player I think is most likely mafia. For me this would still be hillis. So for now I go with lynch hillis.
@jandal (once again): When will be the end of the day? I think it's been nearly 72 hours now, so will the day be longer?

After a long day's discussion that continued long into the evening, the town finally decided to lynch knockout, who had been one of the most outspoken and most spoken out of the groupm, but also highly suspicious in his actions to many. Was he secretly a mafioso?

Things came to a head last night. jseadog1 answered a late-night knock at his door and was unceremoniously shot - no doubt by the mafia. trekbmc was also declared officially missing, presumed dead yesterday evening.

Congratulations to the Mafia, Bikex, quadsas and hillis! A very well-played game from the three of them, managing to get all three through alive is an impressive feat, they blended in very well until it was already too late and hillis/quadsas started to attract a little suspicion.A shame it ended with a modkill and no replacement, but although I think one of the mafia would have been lynched in a 5th day they would have won it anyway and so although dissapointing trek disappeared, it was a team effort to lose it 
Tough for the town to lose the detective first cycle for the second time in a row and the Tracker not getting anything useful (and then dissapearing), but really it wasn't a very good game anyway from a fairly strong setup for them.
Don't have time for a game bible (and it would have been boring with half a tracker and no detective, one note I will make is that the mafia did use the One-Shot Strongman ability when taking out ryant, and it was needed as df_trek as the Doctor did protect him!
Thanks to all of you for playing a good game, and for helping this game to a recent PCM.daily Award for Best Forum Game! A cool recognition of the great games we've had  Thanks to knockout as well for hosting with me over the last year and shares that award. I believe he's hosting next time as well, so look out for that!
Finally, on Day 2 kandesbunzler called out the whole mafia as suspicious (with one or two others in a list), that post never got acknowledged and he changed tack eventually. Just a little funny to me |

Damn it. This Game could've been gone if we would've just listened to who has been quiet. Every active member was a townie at the end.
Also I'm pretty sure that hillis and quasdas would've died the next two days, but Bikex definitely was the MVP this game, perfectly executed.

Mafia played it perfectly, and imo some of our best players had off games. That combination made it hard to do basically anything.
We've been taught that silence gets you killed so much that when we finally stepped away from that logic, it did us in, and let the mafia just sit around and wait for us to kill each other. They played us off so well, basically inducing us to make mistakes that proved deadly one at a time.
Bikex in particular played brilliantly. He basically got universally declared town and could just coast. Hillis had some bad looks, and I was suspicious with quadsas going so hard to lynch jdog, but ultimately there was always someone more suspicious that took precedence, because that's how they engineered it.
I have to take some fault here obviously, not only for leading the town in the wrong direction more than once, but for not doing my due diligence as hillis's neighbor. We never contacted outside the first day because I just felt there wasn't really much to learn from it. I was wrong, and maybe if I had done more we could have gotten a lead earlier.
Cool that ryant was protected and strongmanned as well. Not very often the roles end up clashing so perfectly.
