For now, im voting Lynch Marcovdw
However, this might change later in the day. As im still a bit torn on who i belive more to be a mafia member. The edge is on Marco now, because knockout provides a lot of material for the town to analyze. Marco is more in the shadow however, which is his right, but if he does not come forward to defend his case. I might not change my vote.

For someone who was done playing, looks like that was absolutely not true. Im not going to waste another night arguing with you on here. I did what I did like everyone said above. You were the only player actively throwing a tantrum about it.
I said if I was proven mafia I'd leave for a year I'm not sure how that is a personal vendetta or tactic against anyone? Seems like it was strategy that you didn't like and have now centered the entire game around. So I'll make a post again if someone posts something relevant to the game.

Alright after multiple messages from members about this, please don't devolve this game into personal and, to many, vulgar insults, there's no need for it. Nobody in this game should have to have stuff like that said to them over their behaviour in what is ultimately just a game. I don't like the idea (or the fact) of people being offended by unnecessary and, in some eyes, vulgar personal attacks thrown around in this thread.

What happened today didn't change my mind on my main suspect. Maybe that if Croatia's death was to cover Marco's alignment with mafia members scattered between voters, it can be a good try to lynch Marco, as favorable percentage to hit a mafioso, but I find that to let a power role die after a his call, it's even worst at my eyes.
For mafia should be surely better to lynch Croatia regardless Marco's alignment at that point.
Another point against knockout is that if I think both Marco and knockout are mafia, I prefer to kill the most active one, because he is more involved in discussion and can deviate reasonings in a direction rathern than another, as often is leading the discussion.

I don't want to go deep on what happened between jseadog and quadsas, because I don't want to be involved in such situation, but I'll read this on the game view. If quadsas was so stricken by jseadog action, it can be that he is a very fair player, how he reacts, and the language he uses, don't tell the same story. This put also him between suspected players.

Its 3-2 but i guess jdog counted his and bbls votes who are both not yet posted but seem likely. Would be important that jdog posts his vote though because we still have those quiet ones (jaxika, trek) left to cast a vote while others might panic or change their mind.

Lynch Marcovdw. I agree that knockout is playing a little more hesitantly this game but it's not a big enough difference to warrant him as being a mafia member. I also agree with key points above that Marco has been much less active than knockout. I understand that knockout could be steering the conversation to his advantage but there has been so much going on. Imagine if 4 mafia members were the 4 most inactive guys? Would not be a horrible strategy imo

Im keeping my vote for now. However, i do sincerely belive that one of knockout or Marco is mafia, not both though. So this is a crucial vote for us. The next day will be rather clear, voting wise, for me.

I think this is a wasted day (in game). The last two days (irl) nothing of importance happened: no bigger posts, no new lines of thought.
The quiet players stayed quiet: Nothing from jaxika, treks promised longer post never came, hillis posted only short ones without any analysis of what's going on, marcos last (and only) post is nearly two days old, quadsas ist possibly out (or not, who could know). To be honest, how shall we win this game as town if half of the players are basically silent? Of course that could be a mafia tactic (and I'm sure there's mafia in between), but even then at least half of them are pro-town.
As to my vote for today: lynch marcovdw
I tend to think that neither knockout nor marco are mafia, as for me the absence of action implies that the mafia seems content with the choice offered.
But as there's no real alternative, I feel forced to vote for one of them. My gut feeling (I don't have anything better to offer for my decision) tends to let knockout survive.
Plus I really don't want to stay alone with all the less active players. If they are all town, we're doomed anyway, because most information we get is from the mafia and the town wastes votes. If there is mafia within, we have no way to conclude who of them it is and are either reduced to pure chance or will lynch all the active townies one by one (because those will sooner or later make mistakes that will be used against them).
And finally (from a tactical point of view) I will equalize the vote count for marco and knockout, thus probably letting someone else put the hammer down (or make it a random lynch for a tied vote). Please feel free to use this against me later on.

It looks like it might end up being a coin toss then unless someone makes the deciding vote so I'll leave you with some parting words in case I'm unlucky.
I believe the majority of players would not feel crafty enough to go strongly against each other if not really needed or vote (and pushing strongly) to get someone in risk of getting a lynch that isnt already there. Doesnt mean that someone would not cast a (throwaway/activity/bandwaggon) vote on someone or that they wouldnt list their partners amongst a list of most likely mafia members but they probably would not make a strong push against him. I'd count those as exception who have played plenty of games already and/or those who might believe that it is expected of them to have lots of reads (mostly BBL / me of those still alive, maybe df_trek or kandes). For everyone else I'd say strong pushes against each other on these first days should be seen as a sign that probably either one or none of them is mafia.
This is not really relevant at this point in time but as soon as we find the first mafia member it might make the opposing player less likely to be his partner in crime and thus, more likely to be pro-town. This leads me to the following unlikely mafia partners:
- jaxika and trekbmc
because of jaxikas day 1 vote, puts trek into a very dangerous situation when the momentum went against that
- jaxika and jdog
because of jaxikas day 2 vote, unnecessarily puts jdog into a potentially very dangerous situation
- quadsas and jdog
because of the whole insulting between them. Faking that could easily backfire because people might not want to play with them anymore and vote someone out of spite
- kandes and marco
kandes' :59 post ruins the alibi of not being online / having the time to read through everything which looks like a much better excuse for not voting on either waggon
There might be more but these are the most obvious ones i remember. Definitiely worth looking through his interactions far more detailed once we found the 1st mafia member.
