Highly disagree, usually it's the people that say the least/vague stuff are the first to be lynched, and that for good reason. In my opinion it's also people that start jumping on lynch trains that are the most suspicious people (generally speaking).
I agree with Croatia. I play a similar way to past games (both as mafia and town) and never really was in danger of getting lynched day 1 eventhough there are usually a couple of players thay have me high on their list as mafia but the majority usually is against lynching such an active player immediately. Of course its always a danger to be polarizing like this but spammy active users used to be much more in danger than discussion driving active ones. This might be the first game where i feel like there is a realistic chance that i might end up getting lynched day 1.

Does anybody have an updated vote count on where we stand right now? I am too lazy to go through and do it and I usually miss something which makes people think I did it on purpose and therefore must be mafia

I don't have an opinion on what alignment trekbmc has. Neither should you, because your own proof shows that he doesn't play the same style every game. You can't conclude he's either town or mafia based on his day 1 actions.

We had four days of posting going on. Of course one should have an opinion on that by now. If not the day was used very badly. Doesnt mean that one has to be sure about it but at least you should have any indication by now who you vote for. We lose at the fifth misslynch. If we no lynch today we lose at the fourth misslynch. Time to think about your opinion.

It was a fun reading through all the posts. One way or another, most of the reasonings have our own rights. All in all i have no clue (at the moment) who can be townie or maffia.
BUT ... its very strange that trekbmc jumping on with me with the same reasoning (with few differences) as sammyt93 a little bit earlier. I understanded sammys aim, so no needed another warning. But if you can accuse somebody with a fictional reasoning (the warning have made already) thats suggests something.
So Lynch trekbmc. |

lynch quadsas
I remain unconvinced regarding the trekbmc vs knockout fiasco that is going on but I am not too convinced regarding quadsas. As someone who wanted people to claim early last game (experience being the neighbours chat with him + his game play) I found it hard to believe that he is digging out knockout constantly considering they were a little in favour of role claiming. <- I can see that they would dig them out regarding detective and tracker releasing information though.
For me, this opposition to almost anything knockout says makes me believe that this is more manufactured heat rather than anything else and not just quadsas being quadsas. I agree with Croatia that both quadsas and knockout would be high on my mafia reads - especially since I do believe they could be working together and so lynching quadsas could be the appropriate litmus test for lynching knockout. I also didn't like quadsas' immediate post after I came out as the politician. It was very much a nothing post which achieved nothing but trying to sow doubt in my claim for what reason? I would be counter claimed if I was lying.
I feel in the past we have been playing the game wrong in focusing on who you have or havent lynched and rather on potential alliances players may have and I feel that being focused on knockout vs trek is too linear for mafia to just pick a side and hide.
Any thoughts?

I also dont really like Waghlon atm either, these "dont trust trekbmc" posts arent informative at all and the level of thinking has changed in recent games
Maybe this could be a town read for Waghlon playing as scummy as possible but Im not too sure

It was quite common in last few games to cast a lynch vote on inactive people, also cumulating them over just a person, what I find mor weird is that we are less than 4h to the deadline of day one and he is still with an unsignificant vote on Bikex (that likely won't be online before the night, last visit right after his first post on 17/1) when he raised much more about suspect on other players.
Now I said that I wanted to see something more from people was inactive until yesterday, and so I did.
Bikex remained off, Hillis posted something that atm doesn't tell me so much, while Marco and Waghlon were quite forced to write, and despite I don't like the way it was got out, I had more pro-town sensation by Marco. But I vote to lynch Waghlon, because after two direct requests (by me and knockout) he just skipped them saying absolutely nothing

I'm telling you that you can't base an opinion of trekbmc on his day 1 actions, because he is a good player who confuses even his closests friends. He could be town, he could be mafia, but right now, it's 50/50.
You, however, seem intent on pushing a lynch regardless of what I'm saying, and that makes it more likely that you are mafia than trekbmc at this point.

That's because Jandal won't let me do mindgames
But I've already presented my case for trekbmc's innocence. If he's mafia, feel free to point the pitchfork at me for being wrong. I will insist that there are better uses of a day 1 lynch.

1) I thought that post by quadsas after the politician claim was stupid but im sure the mafia would not have discussed it because it is pointless to doubt it without a counter claim. Whether quadsas would go there without coordination if he were mafia? No idea.
2) I've learned my lesson about trying to find alliances between two players still alive. That can be incredible missleading as you can see by my own guesses after we lynched mafia Aquarius in one of the previous games where i tried to find the partner in crime of Croatia all game long and ignored mostly everything else. Be cautious about that. (Still valid strategy but second guess everything you assume for this).

I'm not saying that if you get wrong you tricked us.
atm I'm not just considering what trekbmc did until now, but I'm trying to push a little bit because from a pro-town vibe on him, he is slowly losing some points at my eyes. btw I'm glad that at least you are starting to interact, but for the moment and the way I told before, I'm not changing my vote for now...let see what's happening with the lynch count, but I hope we can compare a bit more opinions from day 2 if we are still alive.

It was merely an observation, fake claiming politician is incredibly idiotic.

Off-topic observation are not well seen in this game...I experienced that on my own. One time I commented jseadog avatar picture: got lynched that day...

Yeah, I get why you keep your vote on me. Afterall, it's pretty scummy to defend someone, then vote on the accuser.
But they way I see it right now, either me, Knockout or TrekBMC are mafia. And yet I dont think any of us will die tonight, because it would serve to divide town between the two survivors, and thus risk the mafia members life.

I thought a lot about this, if there is the case that both are townies, and someone of them will be lynched, it's very likely that mafia will obtain 2 wrong lynches in first two days...I want to be carefull with this

Actual worst case scenario: TWO are mafia trying to make an alibi for later in the game, and the third one gets to survive in the hopes that he can be lynched later when the mafia needs it.

If I remember correctly (and thats a big if), that time where I was mafia with Trekbmc, he was willing to sacrifice himself.
