Well, we were lucky on stage 1, the 2nd stage went as expected, but the third was just absolute BS. Especially if I see Pavlic, who definitely is not stronger than Masnada, getting the Top 10 we wanted. Really disliking PCM 18 so far on "hilly" stages.
Thanks for the report, though, and congrats to Nibali.

Pretty pleased with this race. Nice to see two active riders up front. Belmokhtar 3rd in the KOM as a nice little bonus. Too bad he faded in the last climb...
Also 13th, and 17th on the stage is good, Bagot moving to 17th in the GC for a few points.

Quite happy to see two of our main guys in the break! Godoy competing for KOM is fun too!
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

NIBBLES
The old fella continues his form from earlier in the season to win our first GC in years! The combination of HIL, MO and TT really working well for him. He also continues to show that you don't need much ACC to do well in this PCM.
Borisavlejevic obviously dropped from 6th to outside the Top 20 but I like to think he worked for the cause. He still won the U25 with two of my other riders in 3rd and 4th.
An unusual race given I was hoping Costa would fight for the win but can't complain when Nibbles does it instead!

Ah yes, Jorge Abreu, the infamous --- *checks notes* --- 73 climber!
Glad to see Euskaltel win this, although with the exact opposite rider to their team philosophy

I will most definitely take a top 10 in a GC in a race where we decided to not bring out Faiers.

Very pleased with Pavlic in 8th place here. He's been performing well above expectations so far.

Well that was a pleasant surprise on the final stage for Thibault. Nice win on a stage where he has been hit and miss in the past. Shame the TT left him with too much to do.
Congrats LLS on the GC win
