Dempster and Archbold crossing the line on 1-2. Nice result from Bennelong's point of view and two of our last year's squad topping the stage. Obviously a great results particularly for Trofimov though.

It's very doutable that there'll be any timegaps on the hills so this could even be a race for Cornu to loose now.

Fantastic report!

How do you manage to do a TTT so exciting!? Thank you! Smile

And a Banana because we're not the suckiest team in the race.....yet

Wait, what just happened in this first stage??
How with the team we sent to this race we got a brilliant second place in a TTT??

Crongrats to our friends from Duolingo and thanks for the great report.

Glad I invested a strong team for TTTs like this. We didnt win, but 18 seconds back is pretty much nothing, and to see some teams down over 2mins means we've done well.

Amazing report! Highly detailed and great to follow.

What a great result! I was looking to secure a good first day for Trofimov, but this is much better. Thanks for the congrats.

Brilliant report Fabiasnki! I have to ask though, what's wrong with our team kit? My riders were riding in red for some reason.

Knew from Copenhagen-Malmø that we could lose a lot of time at this stage, so not surprised we did, hard to come back from this but we can still hope for a good stage later on.

Congratz to Gustavovskiy

Great report thanks

Not the worst effort there from the team to have all my riders within striking distance of under 1 minute.

Very very weird that the strongest rider on my team, who is the second best TT rider (behind a very one-dimensional Robert) was my worst finishing. I would hope that the team would ride for Costa a bit better but doesn't seem like that was the case. I mean it was 3 seconds but still a little strange.

I do hope that stage 2 and 5 are selective but not tooo selective as that will give Costa a great chance to do well in the GC here.

That's literally just down to how the random team rotation works out on the finish line, he probably pulled off the lead in the last km and PCM doesn't give s.t. to the riders after the 5th on the line even without any gaps.

If you mean that he didn't drop any of the weaker riders to only finish with the best five, yeah it looks like PCM 18 prefers teams to finish complete over finish fast. That at least avoids the leader getting dropped early issue in years prior...

Kelderman surely with a bigger loss than ideal, and in general I'll have to examine that TTT result closely to figure out how to tackle such stages if they ever are to appear in Herklotz races.

Pretty solid TTT result, I can't complain. Now step 2 - selective hills (in my favor), please Wink

Congratz to Duolingo, minute gap between Izagirre and Trofimov is slightly worrying.

Oh boy, looks like Kelderman's first race is a bust unless something extraordinary happens!

Stage 1 has worked out exactly to plan. Sepulveda supported by solid all-rounders worked well in this instance. Key race for ISA - Hexacta from a sponsors perspective given have a top 5 GC goal. 4 more difficult stages to come though. Sepulveda is our obvious focus, but some of his support crew also now set-up to have outside chances to hang on to point-scoring individual GC positions as the race unfolds across the stages to come.

Sorry for not having noticed. I just started another race to have a look at it, and it seems like your team got a default Cyanide shirt. I've got no clue why. The minishirt is displayed correctly in-game, but the actual jersey isn't.
I just checked the image size, and your jersey is 1820x1253, while all others I've checked are 1200x826. Could this be the problem?
Really sorry for not having seen that immediately!

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Oh man, we're terrible, looking forward to the flat stage Smile

Disappointing that the stage wasn't more selective and I'm also disappointed that Costa didn't join the attacks and ended up finishing in the group where I had 2 73HIL rated riders.

Having 4 riders in 17th to 20th does at least give us GC options and hopefully we ride a smart Stage 5. Looking at the profile, stage 5 should hopefully be a bit more selective which will give Costa a good chance.

Costa will have some time to make up in the TT on stage 4 but he should do so on many of the riders in front of him while not losing too many places to those behind him. It is a long one so I can imagine that time gaps could be quite significant.

On another note, nice to see Gaudu leading the U25 but I doubt he'll hold onto it for long as his TT stat isn't too flash.

Also nice to see that former rider Cornu is in prime position to win this if stage 5 isn't selective.

Nice to see Wahyudi getting so combative.

A decent 11th on the stage is hindered soo badly by out TTT performance that he should still have more freedom to add more points to his tally and maybe leapfrog from 2nd to first in that competition and add another KOM jersey to his collection after he went hunting them last season.
