If I didn't go so talent focussed to guarantee a nice set of similar aged domestiques when Hirschi and Mano max out I probably would have picked up Mat Senan, especially if I'd have landed that big stage racer I wanted.
It's nice to see him get picked up, seems like there are a few Sauber Alumni getting amateur contracts this time round which is nice to see, hopefully they impress enough to get contracts at CT teams or above next year.

Very fun to see Jimmi Sorensen getting a contract. Had him on my team in 2014-2015 when I valued the fighter stat above most. He did attack a lot, but when I had to cut the extra fat from my team to promote, he had to go. Obviously then, I wasn't surprised he never found another team... until today! Should be a fun guy for an amateur team.

Silent auctions will be simultaneous, you can't wait for the outcome of one to decide your bid on another - that's what the main bidding window is for.
Each silent auction 'loser' will be able to sign one replacement rider.

Amateur transfer window has been an interesting and fun experience, so once more massive appreciation towards our hard-working admins.
Collaborating with a partner certainly made it quite different from the usual window shenanigans for me, where the isolated decision making can sometimes mentally tie you in knots - was nice to be able to talk through options between BBL and myself .
Less pressure than felt with main teams (which can seem like life-and-death at times! ). Certainly decreased the stress which made the fun more relaxed than the occasional exhilirating heart-in-mouth moments and associated massive ups and downs of the main window.
World Cycling Centre find ourselves involved in the silent auction process, so our final roster is still tbc.

If any team has any money and rider spaces left over once the silent auctions are completed, they will be able to sign one of the remaining riders from the nominated riders list.

Finalised World Cycling Centre team re-born in an Amateur guise for 2019, co-managed by BBL and myself. We are very happy with the Scandi-S. American balance we managed to achieve .
We have a stage-race themed race calendar. Hopefully we can see the WCC jersey in plenty of BotD appearances!

Wow some very competitive riders and a cool blend of your national focuses Scorchio/bbl, great work!
Pretty happy with how the Evonik-Xero teamup worked out under the Signal Iduna banner. Though I managed to get us to not go for 8 pure roleurs, I think we've remained true to the team's ideals A shame we missed out on La Tropicale (because we'd have taken all the points away from the CT teams) but I am still quite interested in and excited about how these 8 riders will do. And very special for both knockout and I to develop Siskevicius the younger

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Finished team below. With no cobbled races on our schedule it was an easy choice to avoid signing cobblers, and I decided when looking at the available sprinters to avoid them as well and instead go for breakaways. Core theme for the team is versatility, and as ever with my teams, strong support stats

Decided not to focus on a selfish approach and instead wanted to make sure that Asia was represented. Overall there wasnt really the biggest talents in the region, except for Lau, but hopefully someone can continue working with these riders next season. Tleubayev was our primary target and maybe he can do some stuff. Pengda Jiao and Izagirre are also nice leaders to have

I guess I'll show my team aswell... Decided to opt for the 10 rider solution, but unfortunately time wasn't my friend during this weekend, so the team ended up very different to what I would have liked. Both in terms of nationality and traits. Eg., I would have preferred to get atleast a 77TT rider and also another sprinter would have been nice.
But I guess I can cover most ground in the division now at a somewhat respectable level. Not winning material this season though!

We will keep a close eye on Dobre, to see if he is able to ride himself to a CT contract

Completed the Rostrum Initiative! Heavier on the unmaxed side vs the competitive side. But in Khalil and Mat Senan there's some nice riders, Felipe isn't awful and Lei is a good bet for a few breakaways. Then it's just dev riders who i knew would be overlooked and need some help. Might snag a random result somewhere but full expect to not have much happen.
