Good luck with the new position Sammy. And great to finally have you in PCT after a hard slog to get out of the CT quagmire (much of it against the steep slope of stat-inflation imho!).

Thank You, on both counts, now to just figure out how to build a PCT squad, I think the squad I promoted with was better than the one I relegated from PCT with 5 years ago so this feels like trying for the first time again.

Practical question - how does the end of the transfer period work, it ends at 6 AM my time. If I get outbid in the closing hours I could end up under the roster minimum and not have time to bid on another rider.
I think riders who are ope stay open for 48 hours for bidding to complete. Is that right?
But say I didn't want to spend more money but just go for a different rider at minimum? |

Riders who are open at the end of transfers go into a silent auction between all managers who had bid on that rider previously.

Ok, but say the bid goes higher than I have cap space, am I forced into going over budget when there are probably 100's of free agents who I could get for minimum? |

But say that The last signing on silent bid is your 15th (in ct) rider but you get overbidded on silent bid and you end transfer with 14 ridwrs below minimum riders... Would you be able to sign another rider from FA then even IF transfer is over? |

Given that over the 10 days of transfers you can bid on 80 FA's, and make as many Loans, Stagieres and Deals as you like, there really is no reason to end up less than 15 riders.
It's on the manager to make sure they stay inside the rules, there are enough ways and time to avoid being in that situation come the 30th.

Yup, wanted to make sure there wasn't a feature I missed. Sounds like there isn't so need to make sure I don't get into that situation. I guess if I am I will be getting up early the last day of transfers. |
