Oh yeah I’ve been waiting a while to see the Philips-Netia-Xero joint teams, let’s go Teams Netia and Xero And welcome to Banaszek and Van Niekerk making it more awesome. Sad we can’t fly our UNICEF and Qhubeka colours but it’s worth it to bring PCM18 to the MG! Now I just can’t wait for you all to see the route

First time I'm actually genuinely excited for l'Avenir, as I can finally fill a whole squad with my upcoming talents. It's a little bittersweet though, knowing that most of them will have to be released due to the relegation roster crunch.
Regardless, we're going all in for Niklas Eg here. With his stats, I really want a top 10. A top 5 may even be possible depending on how the race plays out. Hopefully he has good legs.

Excited to see what my riders will be able to do, I guess Gidich can fight for a decent GC result and Hsu can feature in the sprints. Both are not outright favourites but an upset is definitely possible!
Is the route already known? |

Tour de Avenir 2018 - Route Presentation
A regular route for Avenir with 3 sprinter stages, 1 prologue, 1 ITT, 2 mountain stage, 1 puncheur stage and one stage in between puncheurs and climbers.
Thanks a lot to all those being involved in the Avenir organization!
Race might start pretty soon. |

If there's any such thing as a good route for Eg, it's this one I suppose. We'll see how it goes with form.

Not one regular hilly stage is a bit dissapointing I think. The hilly stage clearly favors the climbers.
Oh well, it’s a “free” race :-)

Yeah I know it’s along the route of that stupid mountainous “Liege-Bastogne-Liege” race which is always just the climbers winning what a silly stage choice

Happy to see Amezawa and Anderberg ride with Lierse, hopefully they, especially Amezawa, can play their part in Oomen's quest for success.
Should be a fun race to follow, like always |
