I played PCM a lot back 2010-2012 or so and then stopped for whatever reason. Last year got back into it with PCM 2018 and I really enjoyed the game. Of course the game hasn't progressed much in a lot of ways but the gameplay is quite enjoyable to me anyway.
The main thing that should get worked on imo is how the AI teams handle their training programs and race registration. A big reason for why the game can be "easy" is that the AI riders seem to rarely be in shape. In PCM 2018 at least my impression was that hard stages like high mountains or cobbled classics weren't easy at all if the top AI riders were in shape. However, especially in the Tour and the Vuelta it rarely seemed to be the case.
I got PCM 2019 in the hope that this was improved. Currently playing a career and curious to see how it goes after I get a bit further into the season. Rider registration in Omloop, Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico doesn't make me all that hopeful though.. |

Did anyone try to ride an old stage 2017 2018 to check if it works ?
Don't worry, your stages still work. 2017 and 2018 stages still work. They might look into more HD DEM files next year though so probably a switch in 2020. |

Ok I don't recall the name but that's useful for when you're blocked for example, it's a big help in moving up the peloton. Pretty useful but rarely really needed.

A great way to move up the bunch when you start almost last and you want to get in a breakaway. Probably (haven't tried yet) a good use in Flanders classics, with narrow muurs, so you don't need to waste any energy positioning yourself before hills

Well, I did not know what you meant by that. Any particular reason you want a real name DB that is not on steam?
It's obvious he doesn't have the game on Steam (aka not legally obtained)
you're wrong. maybe there are people who don't like steam's ecosystem, or that everything has to put via steam.
That's exactly my case. Thankfully, PCM Italia released their DB to install manually.

there is also worlddb skidrow for users who don't buy pcm every year or not day1 or just don't give a duck about the game
reality is that the cycling games are more unpopular every year and the new publisher is more morron then previous one
for example i want to buy tour de france 2019 on xbox but there is avaible only on france store,i think on playstation same thing only french store
i use usa account cause there is always more offers and i own 2 xbox one console which i do gamesharing
other account is uk store
so basically now i must migrate my store, buy from a 3rd party site Xbox Gift Card 50€ to put in digital microsoft wallet
i can't buy with my card directly for over 3 years and the 3rd party site cdkeys and pc game supply where i buy my us gift cards don't have the euro gift cards
bigben idiots cause any person with a brain knows xbox hasn't many stores and users from countries without store will make a us or uk account
bigben decided that only french people buy it
i forgot, tdf 2019 should have online mode but it's released and doesn't have avaible online mode,on twitter someone who buyed complained
i bet the online mode it's just 1 race and last 40-to 10kms from a tdf stage cause i played all xbox versions from 2011 and tdf 2012 i think had online mode and that's how it was,i barely found 4-5 people in that year to play online,it was dead the online from first days and it was 2 player max online
from worst to more worst

The TDF game has its international release day on the 4th of July, together with its launch of multiplayer. This was announced quite some time ago. Your last speculation is wrong. It is like armada and fifa miltiplayer with those card packs. |
