Mafia IX | Tick Tock Tick Tock

Why not? With the way quadsas played, staying back and not engaging could be the way to go. It's impossible to know if i potentialy was watching the whole thing offline.

I've been the CC once several games ago, at the time i thought i was the detective. And the first night you shoot in the dark basicly. And i, being a regular at this game now. Is not a bad first night guess.

Who, in your opinion deserved it the most the first night?

looking at jseadog claimng be the detective, and he had already suspects on sammy, Sammy imo

hillis91
Fair point. But he claims he went for me however.

Do you agree that laying low and being away considering the way quadsas played was a vaiable option at that point?
Or do you think that me being away was not suspcious at all?

Surely knowing that Marco and quadsas didn't have a town role, and knowing ryant's role means that there would have been a counter claim if either jseadog or TMM were not being genuine about their roles.

I don't understand the logic of looking at hillis first night then starting a lynch vote on him, if he didn't believe quadsas he should have been the first night target, if he did believe quadsas then probably df_trek or someone at random.

But the most important question is which of the 4 people TMM and Jseadog have on their suspect list do they think is most likely to be innocent and which do they think is most likely to be mafia right now.

I'm happy to follow them on any lynch votes they cast, but I will keep asking questions as long as I'm not night killed to try and understand their thinking and to try and help them identify which of their targets is most likely to be the innocent one and which is showing the most mafia tells.

Last game you were offline for some days in a row, so I didn't found particulary suspect by you.
anyway we have no to forget that once he tested you townie he started a lynch at first post on you, this doesn't seem to be a congruous coincidence imo

hillis91
It was however the theme of the first day.
No post = Lynch Vote

we also know that jandal had a role, and it could also be a detective, or the real detectiv is hiding himself to avoid the night-kill, jseadog won't be counterclaimed in both cases

At that point a doctor claim would count as a counter claim to jseadog, no?

hillis91
But if you try to hide that you have a role, being the first one out would be a great hiding tactic at the same time IMO.

I choose to belive both claims made today, also backed up by my lynch vote on BBL aswell.

So doesn't the lack of detective counter claim or doctor claim add validity to his claim, I mean why would either the doctor or detective stay quiet upon seeing a mafia claim a role they know that person can't possibly have?

Even if they wouldn't want to get night killed, they would be guaranteeing we will not reach the next day by not coming forward and letting a mafia member influence the votes at a critical time

I was the first vote on BBL ???? although df_trek's logic seems to be slowly unravelling infront of my eyes.

df_Trek
Ok then, let's make a point on the situation.
This is my scenario, with jseadog lying:

tmm - sammy: confirmed townie, as one revealed the tracker role and I tend to trust him, because jseadog coming out was necessary knowing he was discovered, so enforce TMM position. Sammy obviously because if tmm is town doesn't lie and jseadog can't perform an action to another mafia member

jseadog: only known mafia

hillis bbl croatia df trekbmc: 5 people remaining with 2 mafia members, the real detective/doctor is between these ones: for mafia to kill the good one is a 33% chance, so can be good to risk and don't counter-claim

Citizen in this moment are also chosing between those people less hillis (called townie by jseadog) so they are looking for 3 mafia members on 4 people.
anyway if jseadog is lying thare are 2 between 4, so it can also be possible to lynch a right one despite not revealing the role.
Imo the real powerroled is thinking the town is going to lynch a mafia member anyway, so he can try to hide himself a bit longer.

Hmm, my winky face smiley seems to have ended up as 4 question marks, that's strange, must have done it through my phone instead of the forum, doesn't make a difference anywhere else so I'm surprised it does on the forum

sammy has a point with his last message. We need to be correct today and it might actually be time to start revealing roles. I will get other opinions (TMM!) and maybe bbl before I continue with any revelations, but we are skating on thin ice right now.

The line I have bolded is why I want to hear from Jseadog again the most out of anyone right now. The wording suggests he has something to reveal rather than he thinks the town has something to reveal, although it could just be that he is one of the neighbours, which considering we don't know the alignment of either one I'm not sure how helpful that would be.

@df_trek

I'm reposting this to highlight how Jseadog foreshadowed his claim and to remind you that he had been one of the ones driving the discussion as to whether the detective should come out or not, which suggests he wasn't confident in making the decision to come out himself.

Knowing that he always plays ultra cautious, something I tried calling him out for it doesn't feel out of character for him to want to see what others feel about him coming out by only subtlely hinting that he has a role that could change things.

df_Trek
I'm still not confident on his actions

trekbmc
Well, I've been played, I totally thought TMM and Sammy were the mafia and trusted BBL and df_trek, turns out I completely had it the wrong way round. Sad

Lynch BBL
