Maybe this deserves a proper thread...
What do you think about start time schedule revolution? Imo this shouldn't be allowed...

Out of line imo for the teams taking advantage. Against the integrity of the sport. Weather is not a strategy.

I take my hat off for Mitchelton keeping Yates as one of the final starters. |

When asked who was the number one favourite for the Giro d’Italia, Yates pointed one finger at himself and stated, in an utterly deadpan voice: "Me."
Yates, appreciate the honesty, no pr bullshit ala froome

So, are we going to keep pretending this doesn't exist?
FYI The design was shamefully copied from the semi-defunct portuguese football club "Estrela da Amadora"

Not sure what happened to designating a leader and having every other number determined by alphabetical order. Now you just choose when you feel like starting. I don't think that's a good precedent to set. I mean, it's not a huge deal, but if we're voicing our opinions, I think it's stupid.

If he was in his rivals' position, he said, "I would be scared, I’d be shitting myself.”
Love the confidence Yatesy!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Uhm, why exactly? I mean I'm pretty sure they always chose when they wanted to start. As far as I know it's always been like this - teams draw the start order (with last year's winner having the last spot guarantee) then it's up to the teams to pick the order of their riders as they please.
It's not a rule of favorites to start last, it's more like tradition. And it would be pretty stupid of them to risk jeopardizing their race from the get go without any real reason to do it.

Maybe it is. I just can't remember anything like this being done before.

I do not like Yates comments. Roglic is a more likeable guy for me. This will be interesting Giro Tom dissapointed me a little. Nibali really solid
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
