That was amazing, wow, well done Fablok, wow.
As for us, 3rd from Vantomme was a cool result on stage 1, and I'm happy with stage 2, we chased hard while everybody else sat and watched and I'm really happy that we chose to lead out Sobota, it's his home race, so giving him another top 5 is nice, he proves again and again why he's the greatest rider. <3
Gratz Danny, two for two and you're likely set for GC now and Thanks for a well written report! The tension at the end was well built.

Only positive I can take so far is that Nava has been around the Top 10 on both stages so far, which hopefully is a sign of him feeling good in the race. Having said this, I might have just jinxed it!
Fablok running away with this right now. Congrats danny

Great stage, just hoping for something more then just top 10 results.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, not sure how to take this one. First bunch sprint win for AKA, and on home soil too! That is very exciting and worthy of celebration... but it was also second place.
Great sprint by AKA. Finally his flat stat seemed useful in his positioning, and the sprint was top notch to boot. He was first in the group by a bike length. Definitely his best performance this year, and in a home race, you can't ask for more. I wish he had done better yesterday so his points tally would be higher, but too late for that.
In the end though I can't be mad that Ignatiev attacked and won. It's rare we see those kind of moves by favorites in PCM, and it's a fun surprise. Of course AKA winning would have made me ecstatic, but I guess this will be good enough.

Thats certainly one way to do it! Obviously means Ignatiev is strong, and most likely unbeatable in this race!

Damn! Steensen with a great attack there, and should have gained some valuable seconds on the bunch, but instead, he's counted as the same time. PCM clearly didn't want him to get a gap. Love the aggression though.
Best we can hope for now is a good TT and a GC top 10.

Selander de facto teamleader now, Quevedo and Van Rensburg have lost time, so my hopes of any decent GC result lies in the American's hands

Wow, really would have been nice if Kuboki had gotten the time gap there! Still I like the aggressive riding!

woo what a move by Ignatiev on stage 2, completely out of left field! amazing win and honestly after stage 3, I have no idea if Ignatiev can secure the win now, but let's try!

Not bad for us but not great either - a real shame Roux lost time since he's still leader it seems, and so he could have got GC points. Hope Stan can get a solid top 10 or higher from here.

Not happy with the Invisible Mandersande performance from Tosh here, but I like the grit from MTK and, though I feel for those affected, it looks good for a Stan top 7-ish depending how decisive this TT is. Not what we were hoping for from this race but not awful.

fantastic performance by Guillen, so close to a big upset win for Swisslion, which would've been well deserved!

I did predict we'd have a breakaway appearance and I did predict a top 10 result from Guillen. He was 10th on stage 2 so I thought right, it's gonna be hard to better that.
But on a good day Guillen really can compete with a lot of sprinters. This 2nd place feels almost like a win

The plot twists just keep coming..
A shame gaps weren't given, stage result is impossible, but it could've been a nice GC for Van Asbroeck.

Drapac with a decent result somehow. At least we got points out of this race.

Don't understand how Navardauskas got worse in every other aspect after hill training in the off-season. He was comfortably in the Top 10s in stages like this last season! 47th on the stage? Horrendous!!
Well done to Van Zandbeek for getting the anonymous GC Top 10 instead. My bad for underestimating him. We got what we were expecting from this race, but one of our marquee riders failed to deliver again.
Thanks for the reports Aquarius.

I believe he only wanted to race for one team and one team only. Just a rumour though
