Surpisingly the first actual break of the season for us, after Laizer missed the one in GORC he finally landed one, with a nice result so a good day. Just nervous about Hirschlein and Uwi finishing in the back of the peloton, hoping they don't loose any more time.
Congratz Sutty and great job tsmoha!

Another annoying win for the break is the thought of many, and I feel for Compal as they had a shot to winning both these stages. Urcelay good getting in the break, despite not finishing with his occasion companions.
Hirschlein and Uwi kept their places so I can breathe again, if I'm not mistaken we've got 31 points from here, not much but with a very secondary squad I can't complain.
Congratz Jak and Sutty for your wins tho, and thanks tsmoha for all the great reports!

Suaza impresses me in his first race, hopefully, there are more joy to come! <3
Matthews again best in the peloton. I hate breakaways.
Thanks for the reports, been a wonderful tour! |

Happy with the results in the race. Pinot looked good and clearly it is Suaza who will be his rival this year. Two big standouts from the first mountain GC races. Joint KoM jersey and white for Potocki is a nice addition too.
Congrats bjarne and thanks for the reports tsmoha

I guess stage ordering may be the next thing to consider on the Langkawi route. Moving the 2nd mountain stage to the end could give the sprinters more of a chance on these flat stages.

Happy with Königs GC but Manninen/Liepins riding worries me. At least no show in the sprint didn't cost much in these last couple of stages...

Yes, sir Definitely nice to see him winning a stage for you and I must admit, that I did not see that coming with someone like Vichot as part of the breakaway. Guess the others were waiting for the stronger riders to do something, so Hindley played it smart and went away with a perfect timing. As a team that hardly wins stages, it's kinda cool to see at least someone winning, who's loaned out to another team (may deserve a special HQ entry, btw)
@all: Thanks for the kind words on the reports and congrats to all winners, particularly Suaza/Compal. Had hoped for Salleh to take a stage though.. I'm with SN, that we may try to move the second mountain stage then! Still an enjoyable race from a reporter's point of view. Glad the updated mountain stage worked rather well here.

Umerbekov with his first win for Sutty already, I should've asked more for him
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A bit unlucky Guillen couldn't keep the green jersey, but 2 stage wins with Guillen, Seibeb + points from Brajkovic, Kovalev makes this a great race for us

Very nice way to end the race! Getting the points jersey here is definitely not something I had anticipated, but nice to see Vichot's aggressive riding pay off in the end. With some pretty good stage results as well we should end up on a PpRD of about 5 in this race, which I'm very satisfied with.
Thanks to tsmoha for the excellent reports!

Wasnt the greatest of tours for us, but good performance from Dzervus at the first couple stages definitely helps, a little disappointed MAL couldnt reach that top 25 spot, but I guess I shouldnt have expected too much. Wish I had sent Manfred or Ballerini here, breakaways were strong, they definitely couldve done a lot more damage than Min and Girdlestone did (but top 10 for Keagan is still top 10).
Congrats to all the winners, bring on Ras Tailteann and guaranteed victory at Gisborne (please)

Well, my team is progressing, but still. I think I should have had better team. At least it is a fun experience being a part of this Man Game.
First rider in the breakaway? Check
Top 10 places? Check
Top 10 in final GC? Check
Now give me top 5 xD |

It is a shame not to see Salleh get that long awaited Stage win, I think this is his third time here as one of the favourites for the sprints without managing to come away with a win here yet.
At least we still got Gabby's expected Prologue win and he picked up a few extra points in the following stages through rankings placings. This gives us our first completed goal of the season and those extra points he gained are nice and a good sign that he might be ready to fight like that all season.
