2Km prologue wont really do any difference for GC, so only moral victories and defeats for everyone today expect Sauber, gratz Sammy for that yearly Chavanne win

Not much to say here. Really, really short prologue to start. Richeze was the best from our team. We are progressing. 12th place is the best so far xD
Looking forward to next stages. Also graphics are looking really nice. |

Nice podium for Kovalev, Chavanne is clearly better as a pure prologue rider.
Guillen wasn't last even though he seemed to try hard

Deserved and expected win for Sauber.
Personally was hoping for top3 but Downey on a bad day here. Still 4 in the top20 is nice depth, though not sure how AI acts now.
Wippert and Coutinho in especially a bit further behind but likely the better sprinters as Hochmann. So will see how the game works with that trio on the flat stages. |

Great 2nd by Coutinho! Still not sure what order I would rate my sprinters in general.
But guess Van Heerden 1st due to 82 but with a lot of up and downs throughout the season.
Then I actually think Coutinho and Wippert quite equally as 2nd best but Wippert might be ignored here and there with 78sp only.
Hochmann as 4th then with Markus being leadout only as 5th.
At least this is how I planned the season mainly.
Here Coutinho indeed got favoured over Wippert/Hochmann and it worked out well.
A bit unfortunate that those 3 though didn`t make a train for Coutinho as he looked strong from a rather late position and being blocked a bit in between.
Was afraid at first with being in the break instead of chasing and then found it weird to use Coutinho, the only of the three that could`t get the race lead with 20 bonus seconds!
But as 2nd on the stage, I am more than happy. And apparently Rothaus is the better sprinter team than Aegon when comparing with Qatar. |

Mezgec-Guillen working, there's a scary sight

Good stage by Korzh! Very happy with 3rd. He positioned himself very well towards the final 3 km, though Seibeb was probably not the ideal wheel to follow, causing him to fall back a bit before finishing very fast. If he can find a better wheel for the next stages I'm sure he can fight for a stage win here.
Guillen proves himself as an excellent draft pickup. Congrats to Swisslion!

1st win in Swisslion Cycling Team history!
Despite working for a different team we were still able to get the win
Great teamwork, great leadout from Mezgec and Guillen does what he does best
@tamijo: thanks, feels great to get of the mark

Good job by Matthews to secure a 5th place after that horrible position when the sprint started.
Congrats Swisslion and thank you for the report once again tsmoha! |

Happy with points lead, gotta hope for a fluke stage for Dzervus so that we may have a chance to keep it

Gabby's already completed our first goal of the season, and thanks to Guillen winning today he has managed to hold onto the race lead an extra day to bring in extra points we weren't expecting.
Hopefully when he loses the jersey in the mountains he will help out in the sprint train instead of having Zamri in it as our climber is possibly the second weakest sprinter we brought here apart from Flat Beast Mundle who was strong enough to deter late attacks by himself.

So far quiet race for us, but until the mountain stages I don't expect much from the team

Brajkovic still has a chance to crack the top 10, but we knew it's gonna be more difficult here in Langkawi. Gonna be interesting to see how the sprinters recover for the next stage.
Thanks for the report tsmoha
