Glad to see an amateur team doing so well. Kip and Degenkolb are surely upsetting a lot of people this weekend

That was exactly what I wanted to see from Kip and Tleubayev here. Completely destroyed the competition and almost getting 50 points from this race already.
All riders except for one still within same time is great, but things will change in the next stage, will be quite interesting to see how we perform, and if Tempier is recognized as a leader for us, of if it's just every rider back to protect Kip in his surge backwards...
The amateur teams have proved very strong in the beginning of this race. I expect that to change now, however.

Kip was the best sprinter on these three stages last season too, but that was with a 5th, 1st and 2nd - this year has been even better.
Looking forward to seeing how the updated Stage 4 plays out.

Had my hopes of getting that win before the race hits the hillier terrain, but maybe tireing the beast Kip a bit could help us.
Festina with an amazing start, and also, great reporting by roturn

Another one by Kip congratz Sotd!
I was preety excited seeing thar Costagli had lost time but when I checked Uwi had also lost time, and Baltazar too.. Bummer, especially since there wasn't apparent wind but I gues they'll be more focused in helping now

What a race by Kip here! Great choice picking him up and sending him here.
Missing my former rider Guillen here, would have been interesting to see what he could have done. Former C1 stage winner even

Really interesting stage! Unlike last year in this stage, where a group including a lot of Repsol riders and Valls got away in the first climb, but was reeled in later, Pinot held onto his gap and takes his first of probably many wins in the race. Unfortunate for Teuns as he proves to be really strong in the finish.
Great report roturn!

Great ride by Briceno today to keep Brajkovic up there with the main contenders. Would have loved to seen Seibeb use that 80 FTR to be more agressive, but at least he didn't lose any time.
Chapeau to Pinot for taking the stage by the scruff of the neck. Great report roturn

Don't see any GC way back for those that lost time here, with Stage 10 likely to be just as bad for them.
Strong start by Pinot to make him tough to beat.
Nice to see Teuns gaining time also, playing to his strenghts and as now we see how AI treats the dynamic there. Will Costagli play teammate or get in the way, and will arguably the best fit for this race (Grmay) lose out - or come to the fore anyway?

Losing time as expected. O'Brien doing quite well though, a pity he lost time on the flat stages! Would appreciate some aggressive racing in the mountains now.

Kip survived the stage to take a few more points from the race is very nice, while Tempier played it out well above expectations to survive that front group. It was way too tough for Simon, which we already knew. This always looked more like a mountain stage.
I'm very content with things. It will be interesting to see what Tempier can do on the selective stages. He isn't a top 20 rider, but with some luck he could attack to get a decent result.

Wow what happened here! Mixed feelings definetely, Warbasse seemed to be in control of the situation but let Pinot go with teammates, rookie mistake... The positive point is that he managed to still get 8 seconds of bonification although having chased himself, and of course distancing Ratiy and Costagli is a huge step towards the podium.
Chances of winning now are barely null now, this is where Warbasse should be able to claw some seconds from Pinot but it was the other way around so now, attack Teuns and trying to keep that podium place safe.
Congratz Hoyle, you've got this one for sure

Great to see Campari logo several times, thanks to Sota Ikibe using the free role we gave him today, warming up the legs for the more important role as Cataldo's first helper later on
Also good to see the Campari-Super Dry domestic’s do a bit of work in the Peloton, showing they got confidence in Cataldo and he was fine today sitting with the best.
@hoyle, Nice one
@roturn: thanks a lot for the report, somehow liked this one a lot more than the flatty's

We are really not very good, but it'll be interesting to see how the two leader thing works out.
Great result for GCN and Pinot. Loving the reports!
