Has Ruben Guerreiro's move to Katusha been confirmed by Portuguese sources?
Other moves according to Het Nieuwsblad today:
Alex Kirsch -> Trek
Matthias Brändle -> Israel Cycling Academy
Laurens Ten Dam -> BMCCC

Not that I have heard of. But there was a possibility of not renewing his contract with Trek, and given that he has had several complications throughout the season maybe he needs new challenges to motivate himself, and with Gonçalves and Azevedo in the team it can happen soon. |

Our newspaper mentioned Dirk Demol's move as an important factor too.
In the meantime, Roelandts' move to Movistar has been confirmed, while the Izagirre brothers are likely to join UAE.

So Cannondale wouldn't have one of their new stagiares busted for doping?
Nah I think he's clean, preety young and his evolution seems preety normal.
Also Ganna is 82Kg so dont worry guys he wont be a climber Cancellara dream is still alive but very much so in Kung, I hope
And about Ruben Guerreiro, there's not a single mention to him I think.. Portuguese press doesnt really pay attention to cycling (except these precious few Grandissima days ) but it makes sense, wouldnt be surprised

Well, José Neves/Fernandes finished last yesterday so maybe he needs a little bit of oiling up with the pros.
Izagirre bros to UAE means Rui Costa could also be in the way out and Katusha would be a good team for him. Accordingly both their underwhelming results in 2018. |

Danny Pate retires. I recall someone here on PCMDaily to have a man crush on him, not sure if said member is still active but I send my feelings for this sad occasion.
Lars Bak to Dimension Data to help Valgren in the classics and Kilian Frankiny to FDJ. |

Oh no...
I think you mean Waghlon, but then again Danny Pate was the Christophe Laporte of the entire forum after Mads Kaggestad and before Yukiya Arashiro, to put it that way. I'm pretty sure that makes very little sense to the majority here.
To add some own 'news' to this post at least: Marek Rutkiewicz, Pole of mostly CCC fame, has apparently done a full Vino plus some extra.
He was leading GP Minsk solo, before a lone chaser caught him just before the finish and left him standing still in the sprint.
The relevance of this: the rider in question who won rides for Minsk Cycling Club, and Rutkiewicz basically stopped pedalling to let him catch up.
The first rule of sports rigging: don't do it blatantly when cameras are around.

I'm getting old. Maybe Waghlon was only responsible for Arashiro.

Ffs Landa, when are you supposed to collect your scalps when you never race or race half-arsed? Hopefully the rumours of his return to Astana will turn true. Vino will send him some letters.

Terpstra’s move to Direct Energie is seemingly bringing more Dutch riders to the team, the second one being Pim Lightart. |

Whilst Bevin will stay by Van Avermaet's side, Rodrigo Contreras is going to give racing outside of the Americas another try at Astana.

Katusha have signed Harry Tanfield, who won this year’s Tour de Yorkshire opening stage. Odd, but he seems to have some potential in time trialing, if my research is correct. |

Kangert to EF Education.
Was telling he needed some change after 8 years at Astana.
They got great rider. Silent-serious-hard working cyclist. |

Oh Tanel, not there... Really like him but the mentality in Cannondale is just so below the one expected for a WT team

Huge missed opportunity for Sunweb to provide Dumoulin with a proper domestique IMO.

Richie Porte is suffering from a gastroenteritis and although missing the team presentation, he’ll still start the Vuelta, though not being a good indication before the start of the race. |
