redordead: Thanks! Quite frankly we have to promote with the st of leaders we have. We'll meet for sure.

Legendairy Newcowmer
We are extremely happy that we now officially have secured the best stage racer to ever have worn our jersey - even though he will mostly be riding in his own special edition of it.
The guy we are talking about is of course Leopold König, who have already proven himself on PT-level and will now help us in our mission to make a swift return to PCT.
He joins us from EA Vesuvio for a transfer fee of 900.000.
To be able to afford König we had to let one other rider go and that was Yoann Paillot who have been sold to Norwegian outfit Aker - MOT for 700.000 in order to lead them when TT-ing is important. We wish Yoann the best of luck and thank him for his services.

Very nice signing. I was also looking at König but decided that I have too many other targets in mind to spend my budget on Should help you promote back to PCT in no time!

Thanks. I'm really happy to have him on board. Oddly enough it feels like I have a stronger team this year than last (looking at leaders at least).
Tbf it will be embarrassing if I don't promote with this setup...

Imo you should win the division with those 3 leaders

I'll wait for the final DB before accepting that status - a lot can change during a transfer season...

Every single season in MG history there have been at least one Finnish rider in the highest division.
We feared that this season would be the year that stat would end, but our good friends and neighbours at Volvo acc by Spotify made sure that didn't happen by taking in Joni Kanerva on a loan deal.
Thank you for helping Joni develop best possibly and keeping Finnish MG-history of getting a dark smear!
Right now that means that we're taking a small break from transfer action.

A Special Newcowmer
We are very happy to have signed a very special rider.
Awet Gebremedhin grew up in Eritrea but now holds a Swedish passport after living in hiding for a couple of years.
Despite a tough journey he is a happy guy that inspires people around him and will always give it his very best!
We do also however acknowledge that he would be even better of riding on a higher level so if anyone would be willing to take him in and pay his wages the coming season you should contact us and we'll be happy to compensate any expenses you may have (and perhaps even a little more)

Don´t think so. (well, maybe but only because we relegate)

Well if no one wants to loan him this year it could very well be I keep him for myself even in 2019

Calves coming in
While we are still working on the final touches of the team three more riders have been added to the roster:
Aviv Yechezkel will be joining us on loan from Carlsberg to pick up some experience. Aviv's main task will be to follow Olli Kulppi wherever there's cobbles but will be a good asset on the flat in general.
You should all know Oskari Vainionpää by now. The young Finnish fighter probably sets some kind of record by going into his third season in a row as stagiare with us. Odds are he would have been given a full contract had we not relegated but even another stagiare season should see him take a step forward in his development.
Kristian Aasvold will be the first Norwegian to wear our jersey when he joins us for the U23 races and more regularly in August. The best thing about Kristian is that he has no weak points and combined with a nice fighter-mentality he should be of use in whatever race he enters.

Win Hanko Classic
We have always had winning our home race as a goal and when that race even fits the best Finnish rider there's not doubt.
Obviously it's up to Manninen to achieve it but he will be given maximum support.
Win Course de Solidarnosc
Last year Manninen won the youth jersey in two similar races while riding in support of Lo Cicero.
This year we expect him to step up and prove that he can be our sprint leader for years to come and Course de Solidarnosc just across the Baltic Sea is an important step in that.
Win Great Ocean Road Race
Yeah, we have great hopes for Manninen and good memories from Australia so we gave him another ambitious goal.
Of course a lot has to fall into place for a classic win to happen but we have confidence in the team.
Top 5 Euskal Bizikleta
One could almost forget that we have other weapons than Manninen, but even Gautier have in fact been given a goal.
Slightly less ambitious on paper but we will go in to it with an aim to win as we will most races this season.
Top 5 CT Team Rankings
No doubt that we are going for straight promotion and with the leadership material we have a top 5 should be very possible.
Three riders have the potential to get an individual top 10 with the right luck and we are absolutely planning on PCT 2019 - then nothing less than a rankings top 5 is acceptable!

Ambitious goals Atlantius, but reflective of a very strong PCT team/leaders set. Arrival of a couple of challengers in both focus terrains might make life difficult though with the win goals. Still not in anyway outwith the bounds of possibility though, sure you will be fielding a top-3 favourite in each case.
I wish you good luck for the season ahead (not that I think you are going to need much at all to achieve the top 5 standings goal). Always been a fun team to follow, and sure with your great HQ updates will continue to be so, otherwise I'll be udderly disappointed.

Indeed very ambitious goals, and taking note of the fact we both have a win goal in Great Ocean Road Classic. Will be an interesting duel
Both your top 5 goals look very achievable. No doubt you'll be a force to be reckoned with this season!
