Hit the reset button completely after Howard left in free agency and I've gone back to young riders Benoot only in so far hoping there's more to come TGH possibly the first in the next few hours |

And with Afewerki as well, I've brought in my favourite Eritel rider. Would be nice if I could make it more than one Eritel, and there's still some out there - but it's also interesting to see them spread out, with Hadi off to Puma, Kudus again in a bidding war, Hamza to Reddit.
<3 I'll treat him nicely.
Expected Hadi to a become a bidding war though, totally shocked me when he went for 50k. A few other 50k riders, too. Will certainly have to try to analyze this when the window closes. |

And Cyprus too.
I'll admit to a bit of a disappointment though, that this means no Archimandritis at the Tour of Cyprus.

Yeah, I saw he was perfect for that race, shame he won't be there, I wanted to pick him up late for it if he was still around.

Nice on by CrueTrue to secure EBH for sure, and right about now tastasol secured his Plan B I think with Bakelants. Its an okey plan B rider
I bet you are happy with those greeks, they came in quite cheap for you aswell SotD. |

Just noticed this. Indeed a shame he would have been quite a promising rider on this course, I reckon. Obviously no favorite, but it would have been a cool story for him to deliver something noteable on Cyprus.

Yeah, it looks like all the riders that would be outright favourite for Cyprus will ride in PT this season (Kruijswijk, Kozhatayev, Benoot, the new Cyprus guys...)

I'm not going to complain, but I agree. He can be a key rider if I ever send Herklotz and Demare to the same GT that includes a TTT.
It surely was a stretch to go for an African rider, but then again we have made good experiences with a Kiwi, and Rwanda is certainly a great country to increase brand awareness in with their huge interest in cycling. And we made sure to pair that signing with a German.

Yes, poor transfers from PCT/CT teams regarding Cyprus. Will perhaps see that race as a duel of specialists instead, which can still be interesting.

Especially good Plan B at that price - would never have expected him so 'cheap' at the start of transfers.

Kwiatkowski and Roglic are both perfect riders for Cyprus btw, don't exclude them.

I was going to bid on Hadi this morning, then found out he wasn't bid on 24 hours into the window, but first thing

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"

Getting Wirtgen was always going to be the main target, and so quite a relief to have that sorted.

Got Eyob as well, for 50k. Think that's quite a steal for a 76/76 domestique

Must be said though, that it wasn`t a super spontaneous last minute jump in.
Still very sorry and new 24h countdown...offer simply was better like this. |
