Stage 2: Mouilleron-Saint-Germain - La Roche-sur-Yon
Flat. Not close to the ocean anymore. Wind is supposed to get stronger, but not that strong. The KoM is a lot closer to the start today, so the fight for a spot in the group of the day might be hectic. The final kilometers include some twists and turns with a roundabout within the final one, so riders have to be careful there. Bunch sprint is still the expected outcome.
Fernando Gaviria (QuickStep)
Marcel Kittel (Katusha)
Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe)
Dylan Groenewegen (Lotto-Jumbo)
André Greipel and Mark Cavendish no longer all-out favorites after yesterday's 26th and 36th place, respectively. Démare crashed but is okay according to his Twitter. Kristoff and Laporte need to be mentioned for their 4th and 5th place, respectively, yesterday.
---------------
I figured I'd just keep it going with these Let's hope for another day of exciting racing, without hoping for another round of crashes.

Lawson Craddock, by the way, has a small fracture of his shoulder blade, needed stitches to his eyebrow, and still started today

Nando to make it 2/2 hopefully. Sprint train of Quick Step was insane yesterday, especially Lampaert. If they manage to do that again, it's going to be very hard to beat him.

Nah, Sagan to make it 1-1
I wish...in real i guess 2-0 is more likely with Quickstep superteam and somewhat easier finishing kilomtres where likes of Kittel and Groenewengen can threaten Gaviria more than Sagan. But who knows...

I definately wouldn't rule out Demare. He has a team set-up completely for him - much like Gaviria. More than 1 train could make things a bit more chaotic than it was yesterday where only QuickStep was doing a train.
Maybe even Kittel want to create a train with Martin and Zabel.

Technical so I honestly see the same 1-2 as yesterday.. Kittel should struggle I believe.. Would love to see Démare up the and I think it'll happen as his team is full-on in him so good leadout expected

Crap to see LLS down like that. A HUGE blow for Astana and the TTT tomorrow. Jakob Fuglsang had a great roadcaptain in him, but what now? Magnus Cort and Jesper Hansen can't step up to take his place.

Heartbreaking with LLS.. It looked like a basicly cracked his elbow, and the look of dissapointment on his face when i realised it was over was brutal.

I'd like to see Degenkolb be close to the front. if he got the form, he could have a go at the cobbled stage. He was horribly boxed in at Stage 1

I agree... And with Demare getting flats all the time, it's set for those again.
Although I still see Kittel, Cavendish and Groenewegen being in play. Neither wanted to play for points earlier on and saving themselves for the final.

Why are no one interested in picking up those free seconds? 2 for free today, 1 for free yesterday.
In 12-14 days some one will be eating themselves over the line to gain 3 seconds. Why not pick them up for free in advance? Especially riders that could use them after the TTT... Riders from BMC or Michtelton could possibly use those seconds to take yellow.
