I have seen guys: check their watch, suffer cramps and angrily wave me through to take a pull. I don't know if these animations were in 16 or 17, but I do love them even if they aren't big game-changers
Even riders dropping down into a TT stance during a road stage when they're doing a lot of work on the front. There seems to be a lot more of them this year, and a lot more frequently
When you can't decide between two options, flip a coin. Not because the result of the coin will choose for you, but because, in that split second before the coin lands, you'll know what side you want it to fall on.

I was in the beta this year. I reported exactly ONE bug: The game doesn't work on 4K monitors.
Four months later, they haven't fixed it.
GG Cyanide, good thing I didn't pay for the game.
Works for me too buddy
P.S First pcm bought since 16 i think and i still like the old games more ( probly because i spent my childhood playing the old cym games )

If you want to download it, you must be admitting it has value. So pay for it and play it or don't do either. Especially don't come here to ask for that. |

There are no more options of cycling games, its sad, but true. And this retarded company called Cyanide has been releasing the same game every year since 2013 |

How can you win a Sprint in my mind its the worst PCM eveer i pöayed every pcm since pcm 2013. No matter what i do on normal on a very low difficult, i just cant win the sprint, with a superior sprinter. |

That is something you can lower, and if you so want you can completely prevent any crash from happening. Just lower the crash ratio to 0.

Practice makes perfect. You can also lower difficulty to easy in sprint stages if you feel better with it.

Well, playing the game for a long few years, and even though the improvements are very less and basically the game looks like what it was in PCM 17, i feel much more fun and competitiveness when i am playing.
The AI transfers are much more realistic than last versions, renewing riders are much more often, and should be so, no stupid transfers that i have seen from 3 seasons simulated! These transfers would make me stop careers after 2-3 seasons, after team sky bagging the best riders possible in mountain and quickstep getting all the cobblers with really terrible transfers, i am really happy they are a thing of past.
The gameplay is much more enjoyable, it is more tense in races like Tour de France, you never see peloton stopping a few kilometres to go from the finish, which really shouldn’t happen in any way. The stages are never easy, i feel very good after bagging a victory.
I know cyanide and focus has a very small team, but it really hurts to see no new stages/races in 2.hc and lower, and basically same stages copied over and over again in lower category races, i really hate that.
To summarize, i feel like this game is a much enjoyable and stable version of PCM 17 with its realism for long careers and 2-3 hour non stop gameplay without getting bored. Happy that i have bought it!

I actually felt that there was a significant improvement in this. I found that most old races had been removed, and although there are not always new stage files, the calendar itself is much better and more realistic now (though it still requires a lot of work obviously).

Someone who have played a season, that can tell if you still need to change the fitness system for every rider so they not get tired?
For example in PCM 2017 they became tired if they have 0% in a week, but they still ride a race
If I have a rider with Tour de France at objectives, I can see he had 0% under the Tour de France. Should i change it to 100% under Tour de France and to 0% in the weeks after Tour de France so they not get tired, like you should do in PCM 2017?
If I want to top at the ardennes classics, should i choose for example Tour of Basque as objectives, so they have fitness peak under the ardennes classics? |

Yep the Calendar has bren revised, but go to one off race and chek the maps for each 2.2 and 1.2 races, the sprints, KOM are not named to original and finish lines also not named, which means it is a copy from higher races! Also, because the old races are removed and 4-5 new additions, the calendar for conti teams are like one race per two weeks, which in real life its a lot more. It is again DB makers job to fill those calendar!

So like every year, i come to the "first imppessions" thread and people are saying how much more improved, stable and perfect new PCM is, just to realize few weeks later that it is actually same buggy shit all over again. Because people tend to adore new things, as they are shinny and newly acquired
Or maybe, jus maybe a light at the end of the tunnel and we can have nice cycling game back? I wont believe it before i see it, so maybe i can change my mind and buy the game if those impressions will keep coming in next weeks from guys i trust from past forum posts (no offense, i just dont believe everybody who says game is great).

I haven't played the game at all, but from what I've read and people I've talked to, there are some real improvements this year, at the very least in terms of the AI, I'm still waiting before I purchase but it does sound more promising at this stage then past games at least.

There was always a great wave of optimism afte the release, even talks about great AI improvements, so one is being sceptical these days.
