Hey all
Is it possible to add new stages, that I have created in the stage editor, to an ongoing careermode/pro cyclist game. Since the start of my savegame, i have used a database that dosent change the races form year to year. So i was wondering, if it was possible to change some races ( mostly the world championship) to a new route, without starting a new savegame??
Thank you |

yes, when you add them into the folder, they automatically alternate during seasons

You can add any variants for existing races into your CM_Stages folder (normally in C:\Steam\Steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2017). They'll start showing from the next season on.
If you want to change a variant in an ongoing season, you'll need to edit STA_Race and STA_Stage using an editor such as PCM Fast Editor (You can find your save file in Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2017\Cloud\Username)

Cool also answers my question, but in which time gap you can add a stage for example is it also possible to make 1 for in November or December for example ? during the "normally"break ? |

I'm not sure if it's possible but I wouldn't recommend adding races after 20-ish october

Other question also about this subject;
I also created a tour , and i can see it visible in my ongoing savegame.(visible under archives )
But i dont see it up a head in my calendar? I am in May or something , and the race i made is in August but i dont see IT there ? What is the problem then? |

When adding a new race to the calendar, the changes will only come for the next season. Hence always good to change only in the "offseason" October to December for the next year.
For the actual season, you can just change stages for existing races. |

If it is a compleetly new tour - not just a varriant you need to do some work in the database, if you havent done all that take a look here:
https://pcmdaily.com/tipstricks.php?ti...p?tipid=50
(not sure if it is the same in 2017, but guess so)

You'll probably need to add some lines in DYN_Team_Race as well. I don't have a filled DYN_Team_Race visible right now so I can't give exact guidelines on what to do, but if you use Fast Editor it should kinda speak for itself

The easiest way of adding a new stage race is to make it a variant of an existing stage race. For example, for PCM 14 somebody made a 21 stage Tour of America and I renamed all the stages to top_tdf_[1-21]_usa.cds/zces which makes it a variant of the Tour de France. You can force PCM to use a variant in a season after the 1st of January until the race starts, that's pretty easy. But if you want to really add a new stage race you'll have to follow the advice of the others. |

You forgot to fill the fkID Firststage and laststage. Just fill in 1620 and 4620 in the in these two and it should work normally (assuming it's the Tour de Benelux you're talking about). If you want to have the race in August I would also recommend adding the stages in such a way that they take place in August instead of February as well

You'll need to change Use Lists in Grid in the settings of the fast editor and you can change it then
