This is way too difficult!
Usually in GTs, I think you're able to work around the classifications of riders, to be quite happy with the team you pick, but here it feels kind of impossible. Gave it a go yesterday, without even getting close to satisfied with my team, and I struggled to see how I can be happy with it in general as well, both with Froome or Dumoulin, but also without any of them  |

I do agree with most. Picking this Giro looks to be the hardest yet. Froome/Dumoulin, one, both or none. BIG Q. What about the others Aru/Pinot/Pozzo/Lopez.
Fitting them into the dif classes makes it even harder. I made my pick BUT I don't feel good about it. Could probably change unitl I drop or just to heck with it- Let the bastards go and see what it brings.
At least the last race I got on to the leader-board after a very very poor spring. I had to dwell on actually winning the new Colombia Race in FirstCycling.com variant of manager-game with a 2nd in TDU. You have to happy with the little. Then that is so very different than Velogames.
I rest my case. And trust my quotes on this one.

Well my team is finally finished after changing it 100 times literally.
Hardest task in a while but i'm relatively satisfied.
As always, we will have to see how it goes... Can always go either ways and luck is a big factor.

I'm happy with my team and have barely changed it since the first round of picks... this is almost certainly a very bad sign...

My team have no rights to be good. And it's my first pick team too. For a moment I was thinking about both Froome/Dumoulin, but there was to much to hope about those 4/6 picks. So, without both favourites there was an easy choose. Pinot/MAL/Aru/Pozzovivo/Carapaz were the riders I picked right away. Woods was the only sensible pick from all-rounders left. 3 riders and 16 points left. The only change I made before the start was Eg on Puccio spot. I was hoping for an assist points from Froome on both Kiry/Puccio. But Eg was always on my mind so I said "f*** it" and picked him over Puccio. Gibbons had a fun run last year. Not many good sprinters, so if he is in form, he can score some points. Kiry was also an easy pick. Two time-trials and points from possible assist.

I didn't pick him, can't blame me for this one Froome...unlike Valverde and Izagirre at the Tour last year, both picked by me as "bankers", still plenty left to go today, I should just shut up...

I thought Siutsou was a bargain 4 pointer after winning Croatia. Idiot crashed worse than Froome and doesn't even start
Also picked Froome, purely because I don't want him to win.

Let`s see how this works out.
Would have loved to add Pozzovivo, Ulissi, Formolo as well but couldn`t make it and hence decided to go for stage hunters Wellens, LLS and Bennett instead. |

Really wanted to get Viviani in as he should be dominating the sprints there, but I didn't want to give up on either of Pinot, Wellens, Lopez, Aru, Formolo, LLS or Mojoric so I decided for Van Poppel as a sprinter and hope that Geniez can ride a good GC

Shit I couldn't find my Pöstlberger this year. Last Giro got off with a boom when he won the first stage.

I missed the Tour of California 
God damn Wedding Anniversary getting in the way of all of the important things!!!
It does mean that I don't have access to the California League so I'll need to ask someone to provide a copy of top 25 finishers at the end of the week.
