There wasn't much middle ground for us this season It flitted from moments of awesomeness to moments of crap (mid-season and crashes). 6th isn't bad but it's below our goal and below where I wanted to be. We'll promote but it's a lacklustre finish compared to where we could have been However, promotion was the bigger goal and we look to have achieved it, so
Either way, this season has been super-fun and competitive - it's such a great bunch of managers this year in CT, I've enjoyed the competition, discussion and moments along the way. Thanks to all of you for a very cool season, as well as to all the reporters and support team who make this possible
Three new teams going into the top 5 is really impressive, congrats to you all, plus maxime for taking In-n-Out in and out of the division quick as possible But most of all congrats to the clinical squad made by Scorchio - congrats on the title, awesome season
Some great managers left behind too, and also Repsol Hope you all do really well next year, some very promising managers. Yellow Jersey has just shown what he can do in ICL, watch out
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

8th in my first MG season is good, given i was predicted to finish around 11th-13th places, which i feared would happen until Yorkshire, Goldcorp and Sauber struggled to score since August.
Being 76 points off promotion hurts a little, even more when you see a rider like Cunego (77MON, 76HIL) scoring just 37 points!!!!!!! Seeing 6 puncheurs in the Top10 of the Individual Ranking makes me think that if i hadn't signed neither Cunego and Gilbert and i had used the 185k from their wages into a top puncheur, i could have even finished second in the Team Ranking.
This also shows that puncheurs had too many suitable calendar in CT this year
Valls with a dominant win in the Individual Title. He has been freackingly great this season. If we are to stay another season in CT, he needs to perform again like this year for us to have a shot for the title. Because if we stay on CT that's our goal, not only promoting, but also rulling the division. Although as long it doesn't happen like with Tvetcov it'll be okay (going from CT individual title to only 100 points this season)
A great Zuri for us makes us have 2 riders in Top30 with Gilbert in 29th with 186 points, something that could be within the expected points for him pre-season, and 3 in Top50 with the amazing Agostini, who if not for Valls, would have been our Rider of the Year. The scoring depth is something that we need to work out in this transfer season.
Congrats to Scorchio for the title, and Maxime, Booker, Abhishek, Vien and Jandal for your promotions! I hope we'll be all again in the same division next season
And thanks to SN and Roturn for organising all of this, and to all other reporters for the amazing pace of the season!

Not sure if I'd rather relegate or go through the torture of having my riders being sabotaged by you - bit of a lose-lose, how about you just wait ten years for me to make it into PT

Hey, you still can decline the offer to promote

WOW what to say.. When I joined little did I know how easy it can be to make mistakes and I sure did many that next season won't pull me back. I had tremendous fun, MG is absolutely addicting and is something very different from anything I've done and I just have to say it's one hell of a community, that over many years have created such a brilliant and complex game wich I am proud to be a part of, I had tremendous fun as a debutant
First of all congratulations to all of those who have promoted, you know who you are and special mention to managers like Aquarius who add a lot to the game and clearly knows what he's doing and I'm sure next season will be his to rule
To ALL of those involved in keeping the game running a big cheers, specially for Roturn and SN for the management and logistics, to all of those who have reported (in a bigger note Tsmoha wich not only has made many, he also made awesome previews and reports at CT).
The season had many bad points, but winning the Bayern-Rundfhart (although that win was obtained the worst possible way), right on one of our first races have Rujano winning and leading in Tachira, the countless breakaway presences where Ivan Vila had the chance to become the first ever Andorran to raise his arms in MG.. looking back there were some good moments where the team showed what it's made off and we hope to have many more of those next season.
There are still the nationals where we intend to bring some jerseys back to Andorra and the worlds (where maybe Mottin can win a medal at the TTT for France), but we're already thinking thinking ahead onto next season, new sponsor is chosen but no details will be reveiled yet, and a bunch of new faces in the squad and more intelligence in the mix of riders that will be competing with our colours.

With Marco Haller and Jakub Kratochvila being one of main riders helping In-n-Out to promote, I really have to congratulate maxime! Really happy to see our former riders doing well.
But congrats to the other promoting managers as well. Happy promoting times.

Really happy to see my former riders going up.
Krieger to PCT with Phillips is nice. Even better that he had big impact in the end.
Bennett with Xero also seems safe. He had a up and down season with some strong results and wins, so can`t be unhappy with two of my favourite MG riders.
Congrats to all promoting managers. |

Promotion was the target when I started off but I wasn't expecting 4th place, even after transfers and when a lot of people seemed to think it was possible. Amazing that we achieved it
Congratulations to my fellow promoters, especially to Jandal who's been so helpful right from the time I was pondering about joining the MG. Really glad we are going to PCT together Bad luck to guys like Aquarius and Azteca but there's still a possibility given how MG goes with disbands. I'm sure you guys will be right in the promotion mix next season as well, in case no more disbands happen.
Four riders in the top 30, two more scoring above 100, including the incredible Per, on loan no less! Croatia has a star on his hands. Per's 119 points is almost exactly our gap to Reddit in 5th (121).
A big thank you to everyone involved in running the mg, from SN and roturn to everyone who worked on the DB in the pre-season to the jersey-makers to the reporters, and anyone else who helped out. This game lives because of you all. It was a blast of a first season and I'm already looking forward to the next.
See you there...

Nice to Philips doing so well, no secret it has become one of my favourite teams may it have something about having some of my former riders and a Liverpool fan as a manager Congrats Abhishek!
Also congrats to the other promoters.
Tough season for our neighbours in Statiol but its a few years left before Eiking will start deliver, have faith. |

Once again I forgot about Clarke, he did not make any good result for us obviosly
But ofc a Liverpool fan deserves a bit of support from me |

As a long time admirer of the MG, I knew that if I got the chance to join, it would be a lot of fun. I don’t think I quite comprehended just how much fun it would be when I established Kulczyk - DMTEX. After one CT season, I have to say this has exceeded all expectations and I’d just like to say a big thank you to the admins (roturn, SN), reporters (tsmoha (HUGE thanks), trekbmc, roturn, Croatia14) and of course all of the managers!
It’s been a season of mostly highs and some lows for Kulczyk, and I’d like to congratulate everyone else who met or exceeded their expectations in 2017, especially those promoting. Look forward to challenging y’all in PCT soon, and getting annoyed with y’all during the transfer season.
Personally, this year was challenging to maintain momentum at the same rate as the reporters, just an incredible pace and you guys need to take some time to relax - phenomenal job. In my defense, this year I finished my masters, started a new job, got married, and moved flats 4 times. I’m confident I’ll be able to post more HQ updates next season now I’m settled, but I figured I’d make all my major life decisions in close proximity
To those who didn’t promote in the CT, keep at it, please. It’s such a solid bunch of fellas down here, and some more will be added from the PCT next year. Not looking forward to sticking around with Valls and Aquarius dominating the mountains again, but everyone left will have a fun challenge ahead.
Special mention as well to jandal, abhi, Aquarius, and Tamijo, who contribute so much to the game, from keeping the tone light, to writing some juicy reports in PCT, to being a good group of competitors in their first few seasons. Looking forward to keeping this upward trajectory going next year.

Congratulation to all who will have an option to stay with me down here in CT. Home of the nicest people.
Condolences to those unlycky bastards having to get their ass kicked in PTC next season.

So the end of the season is finally here. The season went alright up to June; inconsistant, but that was to be expected. From July onwards we suddenly started winning everything and we ended up in 5th-despite a poor ToA performance. Monfort as a 77HI rider even in 7th. What a turnaround.
I'm happy, but worried at the same time. I have absolutely no idea what to do now, as we have no PCT worthy riders and I didn't achieve any goals. If we relegate back next season, I rather would've waited another year. So yeah, I'm impatient to see the new DBs roll out so I can start creating a vision for the off-season.
A MASSIVE thanks to all the contributors to the man-game, from the people behind the scenes to the active managers. And thanks for giving me another chance after being an idiot in 2013. Hope I didn't disappoint. |

Needed promotion, but delighted to deliver the CT title. Thanks for congrats guys. WCC have had a brilliant season, by no means perfect, with some frustrating failures, but more than outweighed by the successes. Continued thanks to Roturn, SN and all reporters (across all the divisions, regular and irregular, everyone makes a great contribution) for the brilliance that is the MG experience. This season has flown past, at times tough to keep up tbh.
The CT has been of a vey good standard this season, and congrats to fellow promoters, look forward to rejoining battle next season. Given disbandments and a couple of cases of no activity, coupled with Strava's shock announcement, reckon that guys in the lower regions of the top 10 might also be joining us in PCT.
Evey team has its own story from the season, kudos to all my CT compadres who maintained their activity through the season. A lot of lesson learned for next season I am sure for those whose performance were less than they had hoped for to put into practise for 2018 season. Some of the new teams with key development riders look primed to make a good jump forward. Recall WCC were mid-table in 2016, so is possible to turn things around quickly for those who underperformed.
Special word from WCC to Sauber who have been on the MG journey with us since Nutresa started. Feel really sorry for you chief given your excellent long-term planning for rider focus region and development having been undermined by the combo of stat inflation and improvements in CT rider standard with flow down from higher divisions. Would be cool to see you guys be in the promotion fight next season.
WCC will now return to our development focus with plans to couple rider development with survival in PCT. We achieved 5 out of 5 goals , so hope to have some decent funds for next season. However a good chunk of wage cap budget will be spent sending riders to PT for development (assuming we can continue good collaboration with PT managers), as well as internal development, so will be a fine balance to successfully achieve. Hence as always, excitement is stratospherically high for transfers!
