I can only express my Love for Jágr. Soon to be 44 years old and he opens his season with 4+2 in four games, pulling himself just five goals behind Marcel Dionne, 4th in all-time goal list.
How awesome can you be? Not more than Jagr...

Jagr is amazing. And the Rangers aren't doing too shabby either, though last night doesn't show that.
Also - if anyone has NHL 16 on the PS4, add me! I'm just baseballlover312 on PSN as well.

Usual Jagr fanboy watch.
Finally jumping Brett Hull for the third place in all time goals list, where he should end, as Howe is pretty far away and the Great One is on the planet of his own.
Incredible year for Panthers and their legendary leader, whole hockey world praising the man. He is just proving his legacy with every game, best sportsman in czech history for me and one of the best hockey players to ever play the game.
Also happy with Capitals doing well, which is not a surprise with their lineup.

Terrible series by the Rangers. They played consistently well for long periods and then they just break down. 4 goals in one period. Disgusting.
They had a bad end to the year so I kind of expected a loss, but not like that. Lundqvist was straight up atrocious. Sure, our defense was pretty bad, but some of those were gimmies that he should have had. No excuses.
Anyway, that's it for me for the NHL this year. I'd tell the teams still remaining to watch out for the Pens. Their defense is extremely high pressure and they don't miss chances.

Penguins & Capitals.. the 2 hottest teams at some point this year. Sad that this isn't a conference finals series. I foresee the winner of this series winning the whole cup.
Hoping that the Penguins can pull something out of the hat and come away with a series win here as they have so much momentum right now!

NO denying the Penguins are looking mighty strong. Leading 3-0 on Washington in the late stages of the 2nd period and a battle with Tampa Bay is lingering

No new thread for the 16/17 season?
JAGR watch alert! JAGR watch alert!
With three assists this night, Jagr ties Mark Messier for 2nd in all time points at 1887 points, only the Great One ahead now, ofc an impossible target. Hats off Jaromir!

Amazing series between the Ranger sand Canadiens the past couple of weeks. It was nail-bitingly close, extremely physical, and rapidly high paced the entire way. Amazing hockey in general. And of course, I'm happy the Rangers came out with the win.
Lundqvist is finally back after a mediocre season, and our young core is really bringing it now. Line chemistry is great. I think we beat a harder team in the first round than we will face in the second round, be it Boston or Ottawa. But you can't get too cocky. It's a long postseason to get to the cup.

Nice! After the streak of Detroit ending, that should help a little

Look who was pushed to the cup again by the refs! With crybaby Crosby as the centerpiece. Shame that Malkin is part of that mud.

The refs cant help the Pens win 16 games in the playoffs. The Penguins played outstanding. I agree that Crosby should not have been the playoff MVP that was definitely Jake G.

Tampa better with all their former Rangers and that first round draft pick we get if they do.
Really disappointing season as a Rangers fan, but the future always has more to offer.
