Btw, Granjel Cabrera isn't the record holder in ToA stage wins. It's Franco Pellizotti, who won 12 stages in the 2011 edition, the first one

Must have missed this then. Before my time.
Well seeing the amount of startlist then, I`d say it`s not legal. |

Would have liked to see a CT or Fraile winner, but happy with that Thanks for kicking it off roturn!

Yes! A rare victory for the team, and fantastic to see it being a developed rider such as Hamza. Brought to this race very much with this stage in mind. Prologue is an interesting specialty, as there aren't too many opportunities for it, so this is a great start to the race.

Decent opening day. Would have liked getting the win, obviously, but this is an acceptable start. Grabbing the leader's jersey after the Stage 6 TTT should be the aim now, and avoid crashing.

Well, about as good as I could have expected for a prologue. Garby doesn't lose too much time on too many of the other outsiders, so that's a plus. Christensen in 7th was a nice little bonus result too. Looking forward to the road stages!

The stage was a bit too long for Meyer. That sucks. Now to see if our sprint train is working. |

My boys underperformed in that ITT although I’m confident we can pull it back

Great preview roturn, looking forward to our first Grand Tour and had this race in mind as soon as I signed Kiserlovski.
Really hope crashes don't affect the results.
Happy with the ITT result, congrats to SN for the win.

Though I must admit that I was cheering for Granjel. But a former rider winning is surely great and it's obviously a cool victory for Garmin on home soil.

Ouch. 17th from the best leadout really isn't right, passed by so many weaker sprinters. At least Hamza keeps the lead!

20-plus guys in contention during the bunch sprint and Keogh fades off to be nowhere found and Fraile beats him to the line. Not a good sign for the sprints, but maybe for GC. Always good to see your GC guys higher up in the order on flat stages.
