I am so happy about Power, finally showing his potential in the WT and not in the exact terrain you would have thought. |

Seen the highlights, great race today. Benoot amazing, finally he might achieve his promised potential this season, let's see if he can follow-up in the cobbles. Van Aert very well too, what a rider.
And this is increasingly becoming one of my favourite classics, especially if it's as rainy as today. |

what a race!
this is one of the best race in calendar, someone think that they must extend over 200km, but I think that nothing have to change, because every year this is a fantastic unpredictable race
not surprised that a young race like this is so prestigious

So close for Wellens, if he wasn't blocked he would've won.
And I'm not convinced by Demare, looked like Izaguirre to me.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Difficult to say on that photo finish pic, where exactly the line was.
Have seen one where Demare looked ahead and one where Izagirre was ahead. |

That was a close one, interesting finish though it looked obvious everyone had no energy left. I think Demare won by a millimeter.
Zakarin 5 minutes down, Fuglsang arrived 1:38 behind. van Garderen abandoned and Rui Costa finished 17 minutes down, this from another crash.

The Quick-Step kids dominating the Dwars door West-Vlaanderen. Surprised about Narvaez's result, he's looking good this first couple of months and I did not expect him to finish inside the top-10 in a classic like this.

We all know the best punchy sprinter at BMC, now they've got the order right too
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Zakarin actualyl "just" at 1:30 or something just like Fuglsang.
Must have changed his bike with Kochetkov most likely. |

Alaphilippe with bonus sprint seconds at the intermediate then picked it back up, after going off the front and being caught, to be the right side of what looked like a few seconds split in the peloton on the line.
Another great win for Groenewegen, quite comfortable too.

No Bouhanni is bad for my Velogames team.
And what's up with filling Other races with Strade and P-N? Aren't we creating seperate topics for the big races anymore? I did my part for the opening weekend, but the Italians and Frenchies are slacking!
