Wow that was intense, the gaps were just jumping around and then those guys play the waiting game with verona and bardet up there fighting it out.
Verona has gone complete bonkers on this stage, impressive display but ofc by now it's unbelievable. Still, a fantastic result for Sevilla and relegation battle looks to become increasingly intense with such performances. Fernandez unfortunatley not good enough to finish within the Top 10 but still held up well enough. Happy to see Navarro join so many breaks and take a rather uncontested third place in the U23.
Congratulations krisa and Aru. This has been long time coming, well done.
Too about CCC though. I hope they will strike back in CT sooner than later.

Wow, that was close. "Do you want to quit?" So sorry, CCC.

Pfft, it's only the Giro. Where is the Copenhagen-Malmo ITT?
As you wish.
Tour des Fjordes wrapped up and Copenhagen - Malmö ITT posted. That's all from me for May.

Great job Shonak! Love the pace on all the reports from everybody.
On a personal note, great to see Guardini win something. Also nice with a top 3

Win overload
This month has been hysterical, with Kozhatayev 3rd in California, Martin 4th in Sochi (with 2 stage wins), Kern wins a stage and GC in Fjords and now also a 1-2 in Copenhagen, speechless..
Many congratz to all the winners too, I dont have the chance to congratulate you all individually, and for Abhishek, Bikex and specially Shonak for the continuously super pace with the reports.

Was there a crash or something that created the gap in GP Moscow?

Good startlist for Appo, he delivered a nice second. More of this please
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Nope, just echelons with the chase and the fast pace.

Don't celebrate just yet, it ain't over till it's over.
Man, Dowsett has underperformed in every ITT so far - while Stannard has overperformed in every ITT so far.

Finally a successful breakaway and Kohler was the right man for us. Ponzi with a great race and the team GC is nice too.
Congrats to Yellow Jersey and thanks for the reports Shonak.

Sorry still wanted to post the results yesterday, but forgot. Here are now the final two stages: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1281694
Last stage also deserves a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWd9D...Wd9DBA6C-8
And here are the final resutls: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1281695
Spoiler First of all I feel again very sorry for CCC. Dominox must've made the PCM gods angry somehow. I can't explain it in another way. Also Rivera just stopped riding. He wasn't even involved in the crash of the riders around him..
Verona is unbelievable. I couldn't believe my eyes when he just left Bardet behind and in the end even took his 4th place. I think on a good day Bardet would've gotten himself a podium spot on stage 20. At moments it even seemed like he could make up the time to Quintana. Quintana was very strong though on the last stage and it got a little close still between him and Aru.
Though luck for my team as Koladozhagh was called back to support Konrad after the crash and through that Colombo could make up more than 10 minutes and take the white jersey from him. Ceramica Panaria won every jersey. Still the top scoring team was Grupo Argos, who had, despite Croatia's constant complaining, an excellent race with 3 riders in the top 10.
Disgracefull race from Alitalia in their home grand tour who matches out Vegeta's "record" of 0 points in a GT. Until the last stage it seemed like Gregorio would get some points but then he dropped out of the top 50. |
