Vuelta a Tachira S7-S8 posted.

Spoiler Race continues to be a thrill ride. Stage 7 saw a puncture by Bananito and some early attacks by Quintana & Bardet but they didn't quite pull it through. Nice stage win for Dombo though, who got his eyes on the KoM jersey for now.
Stage 8 unfortunatley with a crash by Rolland who wa sdoing great until then. Quintana meanwhile showing he's the strongest in the high mountains but Bananito really did ride that mountain clever on clearly a +5 day.
All very tight now, last two stages to come tomorrow.

Great to see Bardet on the attack, shame he couldn't quite finish one off.
Amazing to see Guerin ride into the top 10.
Bling Matthews going well on the flatter stages.
Pretty good for a goal race.
Real shame about Rolland crashing.
Thanks for the super videos Shonak

Grmay showing that he has it in the ICL as well as the MG! Good result from him in San Luis for a Top 10 finish and to keep our point scoring on tick over.
Nice to see a former rider Busche from my Rapha Rouleur team taking a win the Capitol tour, in what was a nothing race for Pedal Africa.
Fantastic win by Berhane in Paris Nice and sitting in a good place on GC ahead of the final stages. Good to see him pick up that early win after a difficult season last year. Will be interesting to see if he can do enough to claim only 6 seconds

Not disastrous, not good enough Paredes' time in breaks has been cool, shame about a _____/ stage screwing his KOM chase! Thanks for the super pace and videos Shonak!

Final two stages Tachira ending, nice showdown on an epic climb and a great epilogue to the end. https://pcmdaily.c...st_1279857

Spoiler Quintana in the end the strongest on that climb but Bardet may be good to match him. Konrad with a flying overperformance was awesome to see, Bananito completely cracking less so. Lost a good chunk of time there and at the end I was afraid he'd end up 6th behind all others. Luckily, he still saved some time.
The last stage was a real nice epilogue imo. B-B-B attacking once more and just enjoying the race at its best. Would have love to see one of them grab the stage,
this way it was one more stage win for Filliers who are really on a high roll atm

What a beast Eijssen was those last 2 stage, first helping Goos get into the top 10, then finishing it on his own. Another one of my riders no one wanted to buy this offseason scoring big for me.
Thanks for all the nice video's, Shonak. We will at some point have to discuss your playlist though.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Filliers Mora continuing where they stopped last season. What does Ollfahrd give them?
Very happy with the win of course. I was furious when we gave back those 90 seconds to Betancur by sitting up, but Quintana made more than up for that to have a nice victory.
Though, we scored less points then I hoped from this race while planning. We picked this race to be in the lead early and have a lot of leaders days, but that didn't work. We found some stage results, but not in the ratio we would've liked them. Eventhough the win was great and the final outcome of course is not less than we could've expected with that startlist, I think this may have been Quintanas last attendance in Tachira for Grupo Argos - Quala. This year we fullfilled the way of planning him as nationality close as possible, next year he might go a different path again.
Thank you very much for the awesome coverage Shonak!

Man, I needed a few minutes before I dared clicking on the results (and your spoiler only after that). I'm usually not a fan of animated gifs, but just this once...
Already achieved everything I could have dreamed of when I started, if that's the only win of the season it'd be just fine. The sponsor is ecstatic!

Paris-Nice was decent race for us. Ulissi again great place in the final GC, Chamorro 6th and scoring his first points is also nice.
Tachira was a disaster. Yeah, I wasn't expecting anything "nice" to happen. Yet the only positive about this race is Rivera being three days in a row in the breakaway. If this is a potential "Giro look-a-like", then I think I'll stay in CT forever . I'm going to send Chamorro to Giro (and all Colombian squadron), but if Anacona was that bad in Tachira... I don't want to think about that! |

Pantano with a great performance in that breakaway in S6 climbing to a Top15 in GC. A shame about Rabottini losing that time in S6 that made him lose a podium place Overall, a decent scoring race, but nothing spectacular. Now time for Moser to dominate that race in Croatia to avoid March being a bad month

You're clearly a masochist. Or maybe you just need a little more luck - see what Konrad achieved in Tachira, Chamorro is just about as good. Show those spoiled WT kids what a CT team can do!

Very weird Paris-Nice. 10th surely pretty disappointing for Herklotz, but at least 1-2-4 in the U25 and nearly all days in white bring Bosch's points tally up to a podium finish.
