Saunier continues to be consistent without attacking. Hopefully just saving himself for the ITT.

Danielson may recover some time in the ITT. Sure hope so, he is not doing as well as I thought so far, but he is an a salvagable position.

Couldn't expect much more from Heintze against that opposition. I did hope the GC riders would find the length a bit too much after their efforts the day before, but they recovered well enough. Congrats!

Okay but not great. Rosenkharst seems like he wont deliver the Top 10 we hoped for :/

Was hoping for a higher jump in the standings from Saunier. Up to top 5 now is decent.

Shame for Kent, but I guess he isn't really in much form. |

Good day for Danielson, just managing to hop into the Top10, it's good to see him perform.

Some good proactive racing for Eruzione and Antler here in South Africa, particularly nice to score the first win of the season early on. Pity to lose the lead in a time trial but it always seemed like it would end up as Kiprotich's race - and there's still chance for a comeback at least.

Very, very pleased with that result. Just what we needed after that horrid time-trial, but we'll take it.
The KOM jersey, 2 stages and 6th in GC isn't bad at all. |

Nice. Sweet home victory for Kiprotich
The mountain train is strong in my team which definitely is promising for the season although some other teams might benefit from better form later in the season. Together with Kiprotichs strengththat could be a dominant mountain season for me
jandal, it seems like you enjoyed the personality of mbaba a lot. Great to see him treated a bit special in comparison to others. Makes for an interesting read

Not the Top10 we wanted, but some solid performance with plenty of attacking moves. Very nice work by the team!

Saunier with a very smart race, keeping things in reserve till the final two stages and getting onto the podium. Shame he couldn't get the win the last stage. Great work from Rossi as well.
Congrats knockout

Nice attempt of Simoni to surprise the main favourites, but he wasn't strong enough to make it to the end. At least he gets a top10 in GC, which is a nice result.
Really great read Jandal!

Congratz Raziz and knockout! Indeed the Iten Project train looks strong
Thank you Jandal, great reports, specially this last stage you really overdid it
I can be happy, didn't bring Hummels, but Danielson seemed suited to fight for GC and a place in the Top10 is solid.. onto San Luis

Thanks for the kind words on reports guys San Luis and then January rankings should be posted soon and prize money dished out. In the meantime get your February planners done!

Him going rogue was quite fun to see - maybe that will teach his teammates not to chase him down?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks for the reports, nice to begin to build a mental picture of the major riders. Ready for the next races (well maybe not San Luis, that is a write off for us, but after that).
Congrats also to Raziz and knockout. |

Was hoping for a podium at San Luis but a top 5 is decent. Good effort from Dubois and the team. Thanks for the amazing reports Jandal
Spoiler This is the only story game where I have something to smile about at the moment
