Brilliant start for us I've gotta say. Even without Martin the team is doing amazing so far.. Indonesia was truly an overwhelming race, way over my expectations.
I'm a noob tho, can someone explain to me exactly how the promotions work?
Wow already thinking about promotions eh?
Top 3 get direct promotion. Then depending on disbands in the non relegating WT teams.
Yeah it's in the back of my head Thanks!

We only participated in two races this month and both weren't that great, so hopefully we can still move up during the rest of the season when Caruso gets going.

Yeah well guess what? I didn't want to do well in January anyway, so there! oh no I'm already relegating.
Sidenote, how did SSJ2 stay so weirdly optimistic about how good Vegeta was - they were worse than us! I'm hopeful we can surprise and collect enough points to maybe turn it into at least a relegation dogfight, but wasn't he telling everyone he wouldn't do it at all, or is my memory really bad?
Nice to see us as the top WT team in the CT standings, isn't that how you stay up, by proving you're better than the rest in the CT so it's a waste of time? Ross' win obviously meant we'd lead the U23 standings like Smith's did in 2016, hopefully we do better than we did there with a whole host of sub-top riders compared to a good sprinter and Ochoa, who was meant to be the best climber but sucked.

your memory is really bad, seeing how I'm not even in position to even relegate to begin with

Majka was GT Top 5 rider last year. Now he is GT Top 10. That's the difference.

Thanks for the ranking, Bikex, cool to see the mini jerseys. Aviva is obviously happy with the 133 points collected in only one race - by only one rider.
Edit: Thanks also for the February preview. Had I known Fuglsang won the National Capital Tour last year I would have sent him back this year and he would have been the favourite to win, damnit.

Februari could be a long month. The previous year, I could always count on my dev team to do something if the main team was struggling.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I get that in part (well, I understand it's a fact) and so now I'd say they were in a slightly better position than we were but I doubt that difference will be too pronounced. He's way less affected by that than it seemed he would be too: just Aru (which was obviously going to happen, and Santos know how to deal with ) in two races and Herrada (who I wouldn't put that far above Majka) in one race. I could see Majka getting two GT podiums and one in Fuji with some luck/great form or even higher, however he could also fall down or get three fourths, which he would on paper. The latter isn't a disaster but does see him around 500 points behind last year I guess, so there is a difference. Enough to make him a better survival candidate than me? I'm not sure.
I think Ospina is a better co-leader with a lucky GT schedule at least than Kiserlovski iirc, whilst their trains for TTTs (not a big deal) and mountains may have had a slight edge we have decent pure and hilly sprinters and even some cobbled guys (not that they'll score at a WT level but nice ). And I guess with both teams obviously doomed in my eyes, we have more options for extra points through breaks and other terrains.

January was never going to be a good month for us, so i guess it's not a bad thing to be so low in the CT rankings, as we should climb really fast in the next 3 months, with Moser using a lot of RD's, including several WT appearences

3rd and 2nd place? Well, that's more than I expected! Looking forward to being dropped in the coming stages |

Nice trying from Ischenko in Algarve, hope he will continue to be an attacking sort of rider
Also, 4th in the standings so far is better than expected, even despite Tsatevitch doing nothing at the Palm Classic and Kreuziger failing to impress too. Thank you EBH <3

Robert was solid in the sprints, but he is in 3rd in Points classification so not bad. Good sign that all my GC riders finished inside the Top20, the TT should be a slaughter

Hah! Who says Bosch is one-dimensional? Stage win, yellow and polka-dots for Rapp, superb ride.

More solid stuff from Schorn, didn't get dropped like many other sprinters on stage 2 and took 3rd. Dowsett and Valgren didn't lose any time, let's see how the ITT and the tough uphill finale of the final stage go. Still no Aviva rider in a breakaway.

Scratch that! Our first breakaway, our fist win, our first jerseys. Thank you, Mark Christian, what a hero!
Followed by a great performance by Wout Poels on the queen stage! Thank you for the video, Shonak! Herklotz attacked and Poels was the only rider to bridge across and he finished on Herklotz's wheel... wait, 10 seconds back? Tough timekeeper! Still, 2nd overall, wow! Duff Champagne all round - Duff Champagne, the beer of champagnes!

Tour of Oman posted. Two videos along with it, unfortunately since I had to do some settings change, so first video ends a bit weird. Make sure to click 720p for the videos.

@Ripley: Unfortunately video software played a trick on me there, so it stopped recording the actual video, super weird.
EDIT ok both videos still last for a minute after it actually ending. hm.

Veni, vidi, Herklotzi! Poels with a very strong ride to make contact again. Hopefully there's no drama on the final stage.

I'm running out of superlatives. What a Tour of Oman! 2nd overall for Poels and our first stage for Christian. Shame he couldn't hold onto the points jersey, have to hand it to Enger Holst, he made it into the finale on the tough final stage and his 7th place was just enough. Poels tried to win the race with several late attacks, very exciting, but Herklotz proved too strong.
Well done once again ICBC. Winning the final stage with Yamaguchi and getting onto the podium with Genki Yamamoto.
@Shonak: I know the video stopped a little early and it was a steep climb, but still, didn't really look like a gap. Not that it mattered anyway.

250+ points for Herklotz in four stages, MG Silvio take note!
