Vamos Rafa! Grand Slam #16 and US Open #3. Also almost secured #1 in ATP Ranking at the end of the year.

As an Aussie, I am not so aggravated with Kyrgios this year as much. He looks a little calmer and his talent is endless. If he keeps his emotions in check he has a great chance in the AO. As a big Federer fan, I am hoping he can win here like last year, but Djokovic has recovered and Nadal is still No.1 so it won't be so easy. Also, Dimitrov and Zverev can be very dangerous from what I've seen. Will be exciting to watch a big tennis tournament in my time zone.

let see if Djokovic has recovered in a good way, he did great in his career at AO. I think that Zverev is the best youngster mixing mental and technical skills, and is not so far that he'll break in a slam tournament...Kyrgios is still a loose cannon, huge talent but but he is the worst danger of himself

Some good luck for Rafa in the draw, avoiding Djokovic, Wawrinka, Del Potro, Thiem and Zverev until the final. Basically only Kyrgios, Cilic and Dimitrov in his half of the draw Grin

Awful draw for Simona Halep on the women's table though. She has to virtually face Bouchard -> Kvitova -> Vesnina -> Konta/Pliskova -> Muguruza on her way to the final Frown

On the subject of Bouchard, she seemed to have fell off the Earth (tennis-wise). Few years ago she was in the Wimbledon final and now she is no where. Also, there is a youngster, 18 year-old from Australia and he looks to be the new Lleyton Hewitt. Alex de Minaur the name, made it to the final in Sydney and only narrowly lost. He also made it to the SF in Brisbane and has now beaten Feliciano Lopez, Milos Raonic, Benoit Paire and many other top 50 players in the last few weeks. His temperament for an 18 year old is mind-blowing.

The question isn't his quality. It's whether he can break the Aussie male tennis curse of all the best ones being an absolute dick.

One of the greatest matches in recent memory (male or female) was held today, Halep vs Davis was sensational!

He most certainly isn't yet, Hewitt has taken him under his wing and he fights till the end without much of an ego.

So hyped for this Kyrgios, Dimitrov match.

Edmund and Mertens doing really well for themselves reaching the Quarter Finals.

Yeah I think Lleyton "Spastic black umpires being biased against me" Hewitt would be a great man to take him away from that.

Spoiler
Obviously I know he probably will be a good mentor Pfft

Love Hyeon Chung!

This match is like watching young Novak against injured Novak, very good tennis so far even with Novak's restricted movement.

That was a few too many "Novak's" in there, but oh well.

Very much so, but if Chung does go onto win, it would be amazing. It's not like Novak isn't defending brilliantly on most points either.

df_Trek
yes, what now seems to missing is the KO shot, he almost got first 2 sets and went into to fight them to the finish, and now in this third looks that he can't kill novak definitely
