Hi all,
I have a few questions because i followed tutorials on youtube about how to make a stage in stage editor including GPX files etc...
- Does the stage really adapts to the GPX file? like hills etc ??, he measure it out? or do i need to create hills/mountains by myself still?
- I dont understand why you need a intersection ? , if i make a route from a gpx file then i dont see that. on youtube video's there talking about before a tight corner/hairpin make a interception ? and what is the advantage of that?
- and is it possible to create a tour with different stages to load in to your current career?
- i draw the lines not so correctly from the gpx file , is that okay?
Thanks |

1. Yep, usually, all the hills and mountains on the route are made in correct proportions, you just have to put the roads on.
2. If you make an intersection, the road can bend at a 90 degree right angle, if you don't the road will curve road in an arc. So if you want a right-angle, you need an intersection.
3. 100%, here's a guide on adding your own tour to your career https://pcmdaily.c...?tipid=49, however if you want to make a variant of an existing tour, it much simpler, CM_Stages you can see that, for example the Tour de France stages are named something like top_tdf_01_2017 and you can name your stages the same as that buch change the 2017 to whatever name you want (and the stage number to the number of the stage), then it'll be able to be used by the game in future seasons of your careers.
5. It's best to stick close to it, especially in mountains, but it's not the end of the world if it's not perfect.
Good luck with your stagemaking!

Route is bad is because you have not placed the route quite properly, you need to click every road point that has an intersection along the route, even if the route continues along the same road.
Impossible to add object for the start and finish line is because you are placing them to close to the start/end of the route, you need at least 2km between the start of the route and the start line, same for the finish.

Ok thanks again , but i checked along the route and clicked on every Mark , also i thought Maybe its with the yellow arrows not good because they sometimes i Saw not go to the same direction but Opposites? I dont know how much influence the yellow arrows have and if the road is red of Orange of yellow lines , what that means? , So my track is still Not good.

I'm a little confused by what you mean with yellow, orange and red lines, but I think I know well enough to take a guess at what you mean
When you click on a road point, the one that has a yellow line is the one you have selected and are editing, so if you had the spline box unticked and you changed the road line or road surface or something, or if you put another route point in from there, it would affect that road.
The Orange line means it is part of the same road as the section of road you have selected, so if you did tick the spline box and change the road surface or road lines, it would affect the entire road, including both the orange and yellow road sections.
The red road sections are unselected, but if you click the road point you can change your selection so that you select them.
Overall, they do not impact the route being bad. Have you tried selecting the route again? Maybe you'll have to carefully click every road point to make sure it works.

Ah okay thanks yeah im thinking maybe i have bad route also because the intersection roads, i do not bring them back to the main road, i make a intersection that looks like a sideway with no turning back. if you understand what i mean offcourse. is that possible that can have also the effect for the "bad route"error ?maybe i just go and recreate the stage or something , i have the idea its because i do something wrong with the intersections like i said here above .
Thanks again for your answer |

Yeah, maybe it's a problem with intersections, although I'm not entirely sure what you mean though with how you describe the intersection.
Recreating the route is a good idea, otherwise if you want to I can take a look at the zcts.

You forgot to mark one intersection in your route (yes that's really all there is wrong). What you need to do is remove your route, do it over again and make sure to add a route point at every intersection you use.
