Liverpool aside, another good night for the English teams. And a draw in Seville is still a very good result, in any other circumstances.
All 5 English teams are now more or less qualified, and there is a very good chance of all 5 winning their groups.
Has the Champions League ever seen 5 teams from 1 country in the last 16 before?

They'll finish top too so should get a more favourable draw and avoid the Champs League teams in the first knockout round.
So what's their story? Rich owner or just a very well run club?

Not necessarily. I thought 4 CL teams would end up playing group winners and the other 4 playing nr 2s. I remember Feyenoord playing Roma a couple years ago, but maybe that has changed?

Not really rich, they dont have close to the biggest wages in Swedish clubs.
I guess the trainer, English Graham Potter who took over when they where in the 4th division is a very big key to there success.
They have also managed to sign some talents that never really reached there potential and some "troubles boys" and they have grown in this club.
The club also work with some culture project, the players have dance ballet, started a book club, musically performances.
Thats something that completely new atleast in Sweden and the players really seems to enjoy playing at this club. |

Yeah why not?
Hopefully they can go throw the first double game atleast, depends on which they will meet ofc.
Also if they can keep all players in January Window or Ghoddos and Ken Sema Will be sold .
One of their players even said that they would not maybe win but altleast disrupt Real Madrid on their home pitch in Östersund haha. |

What an amazing rise! Very happy for them.
Selwink is right, according to Wikipedia only half the CL teams are seeded for the round of 16 matches

It's so damn beautiful to look at Liverpool when it work like this.
The penalty was very uncertain but that 2-0 goal, love it.
It´s often Mane,Salah or Coutinho who get the most tributes but Bobby Firmino is such a good player. He fits perfect with his sacrifices in the press compared to Sturridge. But he still have power left when it comes to attacking and just now he scored 3-0. |

Well you should.
Almost every time we Liverpool fans are Up in the heaven after the latest games it suddenly stops, what we be a "better game" to do so in the derby.
Then those previous games is forgotten fast. |

Juventus-Tottenham
Basel - Manchester City
Porto - Liverpool
Sevilla - Manchester United
Real Madrid- PSG
Shaktar Donetsk - Roma
Chelsea - Barcelona
Bayern München - Besiktas
So what do you guys think? Real against PSG already will be tough could have been a final or atleast Semifinal.
And Europa League Östersund FK got Arsenal |

Tough draw for PSG, Tottenham and Besiktas there. Without having followed the comp too closely, I'd agree with all of your picks except for Shakhtar.
Lyon/Villareal, Zenit/Celtic and Steaua/Lazio look like the biggest matches in the Europa League, but would love to see Ostersund keep their incredible run going for at least one more round.

Don't rule out Tottenham and Chelsea. Spurs beat Real don't forget.

I actually see PSG knocking Real out with the not great form Madrid is in. PSG has been the spookiest team of the year for sure, and I'm really really happy that they've been drawn with the team that has won 3 CLs in the last 4 years...
Don't see Shaktar realistically beating Roma either imo

So what are the odds on 5 English teams in the Quarter-Finals?
I'd 4 are favourites to go through with only Chelsea the under-dogs against Barcelona.

Yeah , I do still believe they can
Sökes late shift so could only see last 15 mins but listen to the radio Stockholm first. No doubt Arsenal was better as everybody would thought but as I heard the two first goal was massive mistakes from Östersund.
But guess thats comment when you meet better teams and a missed penalty by Östersund late from their own Arsenal fan. Haha.
Heard they ended the last 15 of first half rather good and the first minutes in seconds half so altleast they showed a little why they managed to come so far but Arsenal was way to good ofc. |
