I hope not..for just annoy you.
Why you working so hard to make great rider to not liked rider.

I am not trying anything like that...also if you base your liking of random rider on somebody elses non-serious posts on internet forum, you have sad view .Wink

Btw nobody mentioned Stybar yet, i wonder what he can do, the course should suit him and whole czech squad should work for him as stated to the press. Maybe top 10 is possible, i hope for some gutsy attack.
I'll be back

I badly want to see the Dumoulin tripple. But unfortunately I see no chance Grin he's not explosive enough to be able to go or drop somebody on the short hill. He's not fast enough to win the sprint from a small group and to solo away somewhere unexpectedly seems highly unlikely since he'll be marked and a 50 man peloton will be able to control that.

Damn. Well, then let's go Matthews for the Sunweb domination

Kalach
I wish GVA could do something. Even though he likes long and hard race the last climb is too far from finish and he wont be so strong to make a difference on that climb anyway - there are not tough gradients. Considering that finishing km is completely flat he cant beat there Sagan or Matthews. He would need uphill finish in order to do that. Sagan and matthews have much more bigger chance than GVA.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Strong ride by danish Julius Johansen, clearly strongest on that last lap.

Hectic racing in the MJ's race. Julius Johansen "dabbed" his way to victory with a solo attack around 10km to go. Weird sprint finish in the peloton behind with two Italians narrowly in second and third.

cio93
Instant disapproval of any prior efforts after that dab. Pfft

Would've been awesome if Gazzoli had lost bronze for celebrating silver thinking it was gold
(makes absolutely no sense if you haven't seen it)

None of the Italians had any idea what was going on. Incredible to see. 3 guys ahead all trying to stay away form the peloton in the last hundreth meters and a fourth guy winning the sprint thinking they had won Pfft

Sagan turned serious and slightly vindictive when a journalist told him that Kwiatkowski had said he hopes to go in a decisive break with Sagan. “So that I pull him and then he beats me in the sprint?” Sagan asked, clearly not having forgotten his defeat by the Pole at this year’s Milan-San Remo.

Holy shit Julius Johansen was mighty strong in the juniors, what a machine! I could see Dumo doing something similar tomorrow.

Women’s cycling is a simple pursuit - 150-odd women ride a bike for four hours and the Dutch always win.

Yeah always gonna be a dutch winning.

9th by Emilia Fahlin, Hanna Nilsson attacking and being in the front group. Fun!

Holy hell that was an awesome win for Blaak!!! Huge power move that took advantage of the Dutch numerical advantage at the finish. More impressive after she was involved in a crash earlier in the race.
Chantal Blaak, absolutely deserved World Champion!

Garfoot a really strong Silver medal. The Aussies made good use of their numbers, and late addition Neylan really proved herself a good adition to the team.
Nailed the Bronze medal prediciont with Dideriksen, but she was a lot quieter than i expected.

Norway can be proud of Andersen in the Top10.

GB were excellent today. Hannah Barnes really active and strong, in an early move and somehow hanging onto the best of the best late one. Dani King looked super impressive as well, i wish she (and Barker) would make more of their Road careers. Deignan was in better form than i expected, but still clearly lacking that top end performance which was unsurprising.

Yet another cracking race overall. Brilliant tactical racing from early on, then the race really kicked on on the final 3 laps. Exploded on the penultiamte lap. And what i love is how the big teams and favorites were not afraid to attack from a bit of distance. But we get an underdog champion. Awesome!

You think that's bad? Wait for Sagan to win three-in-a-row tomorrow Pfft

Lol Garfoot, sorry to be upfront but is wheelsucking hardcoded in Australia's DNA? And she even got second. Amazing race for the dutch, tactically perfect and as always rock solid as a team. This is should be a tutorial for Quick Steppers on how to win with numbers.

Amazing to be roadside for the Woman's race today, especially waving an Aussie flag as Garfoit came second. Grin

They've really made an awesome course this year, good racing but also super spectator friendly. Smile

My favourite riders are:

1. Peter Sagan
2. Van Avermaet
3. Boasson-Hagen
4. Matteo Trentin

Paul23
Trentin is overrated. He will probably top 10, nothing more. GVA, Sagan, Kwiatek, Alaphillipe, Gilbert, EBH are bigger favourite.
