After already having signed Sivakov, Bernal and Halvorsen Sky picks up another big talent: Lawless
Fricking hell. Literally everyone goes to Sky that's British and otherwise. The Yates brothers are the only ones that seem to know what's up here.
Anybody remember when Josh Edmonson was the next British talent?

Has Hugh Carty found a new team yet? He seems to have a lot of talent and like the Yates twins he has managed to avoid Sky so far despite being British.
I'm surprised to not hear him going anywhere as the story of his Caja Rural year should prove that he is willing to try and fit in and make it work in a non british speaking team which should be a major plus alongside his talent for teams on the continent who still need a rider.

Dutch talent Bram Welten heads to Fortuneo.
It's a long-standing guess but Fortuneo are looking for a brighter future and they are being one of the teams who benefit the most with the transfer period. (Bargul,Moinard,Maison)
Pierre Roland returns to Direct Energie!
Manuel Belletti returns to Androni.
Sean de Bie to Trek-Segafredo.
Lawrence Naesen (yes that Naesen) to Lotto-Soudal.

Fairly quiet around Carthy but i would assume lots of teams wanting to sign him, Sky has to be one of them considering they need to strengthen their rooster in the mountains. Just hope he don't replaces the role Kennaugh had on the team...

Levefere says he won't sign any Cannondale riders, there's no money or roster spots left
Well this means that Brambilla, Capecchi, Martinelli and Vakoc will leave?
He said he has 25 riders under contract. Only 22 have been announced. 3 of those 4 probably have contracts
Bet you it's the 3 italians and that Vakoc is leaving for Bora to search for Ardennes leadership.
I won't rule out one of the Italians follow Trentin at Orica.
Vakoc to Bora? Makes no sense. They have Sagan and Majka for the classics
Vakoč is a rider for Ardennes classics. Sagan is usually not even on the starlist and Majka is not really a world beater in them and is way more suited for GTs. Vakoč to Bora is actually a great shout, in reality they have just Konrad for Ardennes.
I think Vakoč will just stay in Quick Step though as there are no real rumours around his future.
Don't forget about Jay McCarthy, he did a better job in the Ardennes than Konrad.

I didn't see that one coming. They'll aim the canadian and northern classics with him.

Neilson Powless appears to be heading for LottoNL-Jumbo in 2018.
EDIT: Here's a link in which I think confirms the evidence: https://www.wieler...jumbo.html

Would be a huge signing for Lotto and I like this direction a lot more than to a top top team already.
And welcome back btw. |

Good for Lotto, Good for Trek. Bad for Garmin.
But at least Trek has very good TT bikes and Mullen should make a nice step forward I guess. |

Ryan Mullen looks promising, if he can build on his perfomance at the EC he sure will be a very good signing for Trek.

Avila deserves it after his great season. He should have more opportunities to express his polyvalent profile.

Clearly not the best U23 Belgian rider on the peloton, but a very consistent and talented one. It's an interesting move by Katusha. |
