Is there a deadline on when you renewals done by? Currently extremely busy so would be nice to now if i have to squeeze them in soon or if i can wait a bit or get some help from the MGUCI
As renewals start early this year, race profiles, goals and budget are not decided yet. Hence you can wait until those to finish before renewing your riders.
So I can imagine there's still some a decent amount of time left

Just to make the MG bosses aware, I am one of those choosing to delay renewals (for now) until more understanding of the new calendar set-up is confirmed. Key for me is the potential impact of a mentioned reduction in RD's for each rider - this might mean certain guys that were planned to get to a specific XP level last year to enable a level raise this season will now fall short, hence potentially reducing interest in re-signing.
Good to see things are currently rolling along at a nice pace!

Rider race days will only drop at about same way as calendar race days.
e.g. if PT is reduced by ~15%, rider race days will be reduced by ~15%.
PCT will remain at 140 rd and CT will remain at 115-120 rd.
Hence it`s unlikely those two divisions are going to be reduced in rider race days (even though it was considered for CT riders as the very same riders were able to basically ride every race last year).
Luckily C1/C2 races had far, far too many team spots available and even with cutting the total amount of C1/C2 races, there still are far too many race spots available and hence 140/120 rd for those divisions is still possible while at the same time reducing the reporters burden AND giving options for C1/C2. |

I'm guessing with these new changes in terms of RD riders who were allowed to race two GTs in the past despite missing out on the needed number of days will now be forced to only ride one GT. Is that correct?

Yes.
We can discuss a limit such as last year. e.g. it was 39rd rider and 42 for two GTs. But if it`s now down to 35 it surely is too much to race two GTs. |

Of 62 managers to renew their riders
- 56 managers have at least started with the first round
- 47 managers have finished renewals!
Not too bad but hopefully we can get them all done over this weekend. |

Come on slow coaches! You must surely be in danger of featuring on a name-and-shame list sometime soon .

This is a conspiracy to make transfer start on the day, I’m traveling to Italy by car, with absolutely no option to follow the action.

It's not a big deal if you miss just one day. FA are signed if no better offers comes for 48 hours. And deals between teams can only be announced one day after the transfers have started.

Transfer Rules test on Sunday would be just perfect, perhaps even Saturday?

Almost impossible that transfers start this Saturday or Sunday.
Maybe the weekend after. I guess this weekend will surely be needed by some managers to check all stuff. |

Is it mandatory to start during a weekend?

I recall a number of Thursday starts. This worked well as meant the initial 48hr period tripped round early in the weekend.

Exactly the day I'm leaving for a cruise.
Nobody's fault, but I'm starting to get tired of this sh*t...
