Alright, I will take full responsibility for what happened yesterday.
I am, or was, either the confused cop or detective. The reason I haven't come forward before is because I wasn't 100% sure which exact role I was and wouldn't want to add to the confusion caused by trek (and bbl).
When trek said he was the confused cop due to a different reading for knockout (who is town on my reading) I was led to believe I was the actual detective. Or I wanted to believe. My experience playing LA Noire, watching CSI and other crime series would prove to be of great help. The other townies wouldn't dare to lynch me, I would get the headlines in all local newspapers and would appear on numerous late night talk shows.
Unfortunately, I can now 100% confirm that I'm the confused cop.
My two reading of notice were baseballlover312, who came back as mafia, and trekbmc, who came back as town. When baseballover was accused, I was joining in (bandwagonning, yes), using his bandwagonning as excuse. And we all know how that ended.
If you want to blame me, I totally get that. If you want to lynch me, I bloody deserve this. If you don't believe me then I can only say you're wrong. To the other guy who is either the confused cop or the detective, you're the detective. Providing you're still in the game. If baseballlover312 was the actual detective then my actions proved to be even more stupid.
I can only say I hope the townies can get back on track after this devastating day and night, with or without me.

I'd start by looking at those who lynched our detective...
It was never smart to lynch our detective claim over the CC in any case, so those who wanted BBL dead are likely to be mafia.
It might also be smart for everyone to claim a special role if they have one e.g. masons, gunmaster? etc But, if you dont want to then thats fine

My guess the last member of the mafia is either jseadog or weirdskyfan. I'd go with the former who gave absolutely no explanation regarding his lynching of baseballlover. weirdskyfan could be in the same boat as me, very confused
