Hello,
I want tu use real frames, wheels and helmets with your Lite Pack.
I tried with the DB2016'files but no way...
Have you a solution before you released your EP 2017 ?

You said The Expansion Pack won't be compatible with the Steam Workshop, but actually is there a version that's not running at all with Steam or what? in that case where can I buy this one?
I'm buying the game and I want to be sure that I'll be able to play your complete expansion pack

You can also add packs without using the workshop, so even though the game runs through Steam you avoid using the Workshop. It's the same way as we did with PCM16

Thanks for your answer.
You'd have to edit a few tables (namely dyn_brand_contract, sta_equipment_model and sta_brand) to have the equipment files working correctly. Using excel editor, you can just copy paste those tables from the 2017 DB for PCM 16 to the Lite Pack.

I tried to use Excel Editor but it was impossible for me !!! Impossible to open the DB !
Can I use Full Editor to change the files ?
Another question : it's not necessary to change the equipment files (frames, wheels, helmets) in the game ? |

You can use Full Editor yes. You don't need to edit any files for them to work in PCM 17.

Thanks a lot ! But it's strange because in the files of the PCM 2017, there aren't the good name on the frame, on the wheels and on the helmets... So, I'm going to try. |

Well why do you care about the files in the game when only the files in the db are the ones included in the Expansion Pack's table?

I speak about the files of the game, not in the DB. Looks like you're referring to the equipment (bikes, wheels, helmets) not having the correct names and logos. This is because Focus Interactive can't afford the licenses necessary to be allowed to publish these in the game.
We didn't add them in the Lite Pack yet, because it's only an early release with correct names and added teams and riders. We will be adding the real equipment in the Expansion Pack, which we are working on right now.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

It is in the local.cdb, LOC table. You can use Excel Editor's find and replace function to do so very quickly, but pay attention to not editing any constants as that can make the game crash/not work as expected.
