EBH the closest to Kittel lol says a lot
Kittel without a doubt worst rider to win more than 5 tdF stages
hope you are kidding...if you're able to constantly win in such messy sprints, then you have to be rather fast...that's far more impressive than the Cipollini/Cav style of wins (don't say that he is faster, but the style of wins is more impressive)
and I also think that Kittel might be the fastest sprinter of all time in this form, but that's more of a philosophic question I guess
totally agree with first part.
fastest is really ..we never know stuff. Cipo was amazing..Cav was/is stunning fast..Ale Jet at top form straight finish line was unstoppable and fast with he's long sprints.
Ofcourse Kittel is a great, great sprinter but the other top sprinters were much better cyclists no doubt. Cipo, Cav, Ale they've all won much harder races than Kittel ever will.
It's not surprising that with such a flat route and such a slow pace Kittel wins so easily everytime.

also Gavaria better than Kittel. Gavaria still sprinted to the line and at intermediate sprints while he had already won the points jersey. Kittel isn't even trying anymore

Yeah, Sagan has no fans.
And 22,000 likes on Twitter only to his "thank you video" are just an illusion.
Btw. they already settled the case with Cav via twitter too, in very polite and friendly manner....both raised up in my eyes, true champions and professionals. Sagan also visited him twice to say sorry (even when it was not 100% his fault) and later called him again.

I see myself rather as czech and live here in South Bohemia for majority of life, but one of my parents is from Slovakia, so i have still some family there in Bratislava and have soft spot for the country. So i am real czechoslovakian.

Ahh so thats the reasoning behind Anyway good to see some "countryman" here on PCMdaily even though I am Slovak - but Slovak and Czech will be forever connected

Rain today, so Contador should like that. Unfortunate with the two crashes yesterday, I hope it doesn't prevent him from igniting the action.
Is descent from Port de Balès tricky? I could well imagine Bardet downhill attack again <3

Thought statistics proved that Contador is one of the worst riders in rain in the peloton...

I can't shake the feeling that Contador has forgotten how to ride a bike. Last few years it's all I hear about Contador: he's crashed, he's fallen, he's gone down, hit the ground. |

Which statistics? Contador has stated that he doesnt not like the heat of summer and prefers rain over hig heat due to his allergies. Meanwhile, Froome is known to dislike rainy conditions afaik so I'm just hoping someone will take advantage of that.

That's another thing of course, but I really can't be bothered to discuss that again.

Contador should mainly change his approach to TDF. If he can be competitive at the beginning of the season he could be at the TDF. Well its 3 week race and its something different from races in the first part of the season which are at the most 8 days in length but Contador has not been competitive even in the first part of the Tour.
For instance some riders which were declining pretty fast like Cadel Evans were not able to get a good result at any part of the season but Contador`s 4 second places during these season tell something different. Even he is the type of rider who used to ride good most of the season now with his age mayble he should go only for some ultra peak method like Nibali Who is Contador`s trainer? Steven de Jongh?
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
