I'm actually very doubtful about what would've happened with Sagan in the race. Green Jersey would've been a tough call. |

So, finally found some time to reflect on last couple of stages...
Great stage 9, apart from that crashing mayhem, i was so afraid to check medical condition of Richie after seeing the recorded stage in the evening...so at least he is somewhat okay, i guess that helmet saved his life there!
Shame that half of GC stages are gone and not so many racing things happened, apart from two or three moves and expected (by objective fans) lame riding from Contador. I hope that he can at least entertain us with some bold move in Alps/Pyrenees to save his image of action rider.
Also Astana with a nice ride in stage 9, i wonder how they will continue in their 1-2 strategy, they are only team that can probably stress SKY.
Stage 10 was long wait for expected end, it is almost embarassing how Kittel is levels above everybody else still left in the race. Without Cav, Sagan and Demare, it is sooo shallow. Greipel lost it, Bouhanni is pathetic idiot and others are just second tier sprinters.

Me too, i think that Kittel would have won it, but who knows, what mad things we could have seen from BORA and Sagan to change that, including crazy mountain stages attacks and tries to shatter the peloton to pieces (but that is tough against Quickstep ofc).
I think we lost so much with Sagan, because this could have been a perfect battle of two different kinds of beasts.

yes, this year it would have been difficult for Sagan, but looking at the quality of sprints he could get a lot of podiums I think

The route is just horrible.
The field is just horrible (now)
This race is terrible
Too bad a race of this caliber doesn't lose prestige. Makes cycling look bad |

About that Bouhani`s incident yesterday https://www.cyclin...he-carpet/
Seems like nobody cares to much

It's par for the course with Bouhanni at this point. He'll kill someone in the sprint one day and that'll be the next time people care.
