After all that work by Astana when froome was alone for once, they had finnaly chance against Froom without his train. And in the end... They lost time on him... |

Some people here are just retards, Astana are still in the tour this way, you cant just give a minute to Bardet and think you've done a good job.

Froome wouldn't let Bardet a minute away, so letting Froome work wouldn't hurt them this much

When Froome is alone, every second counts. How often will they get a chance against a isolated Froome? If Bardet get 20-30sec, it's easyer to get back 20-30sec on him then Froom later in the tour...
So im not saying let Bardet go, but why did Astana use Aru and Fuglsang to close the gap? Why not just use Fuglsang, so then you do chase down Bardet + Uran and Froome does work, and Aru can save energy for then either a attack to get a few sec on Froome, or atleast try to beat him in the sprint for bonus seconds... |
